😅 What an interesting read. You've said it all and, yet again, I agree with you. I'll just go on to answer your question then - it goes both ways for me.

I've felt very sexy in oversized dress shirts when I wear them with above-the-knee skirts or shorts, and I've also felt so in tight dresses as well. I dunno when I've felt my sexiest but I find that when I dress up, I consider my comfort very much and the location I'm heading to so I don't look out of place. As I type this, I realise I've never thought of what my date, if it were a date, would think. I just find that when we meet up, I just expect him to say that I look good... wow, haha. Sometimes, I think about looking up to standard, amongst women like you've pointed out but I don't overdo it. Definitely not.

The only piece of clothing I've had to endure it's discomfort, and still do are skinny jeans, when the weather is hot. If I'm sweaty, I'm itchy in tight jeans but I bear it because oh what else can I wear and produce this look in my head.

On other people, especially guys, please just look neat. Whatever you wear, as long as it's appropriate, and not hideous, is fine. Do the most but have say, dirty toenails, you totally lost me.
I like when I see women make the extra effort at fashion, even if looking very uncomfortable as a result. I ony admire the creativity though, 'cause I know it may never be me.
