Who can touch the moon?

The painter left his ladder on the wall after the day's work. At night when the moon came out, the sky was dark, I took a shot of it and, the moon looked very close. It appeared the painter purposely left the ladder there for someone to climb and touch the moon. I wish I could or, can someone try to do that?
