Pawpaw exhibits unisexuality

Pawpaw plant exhibits unisexuality, meaning that it has two types of flowers where one is the male, and the other, the female yet, each borne on a different plant.

This means that the pollen grain has to be transferred from one tree to another where the stigma is located for pollination to take place.

I took time to locate both the male and the female flowers as they're on different plants.

Nature is wonderful!
