Yes, though how fast they grow depends on the amount of liquidity in relation to everyone else. I'm over 11% of the pool. πππβ¨π€

That indeed means that you earn more than 11% of the 0.25% fee of every swap on the MEME:PEPE liquidity pool. π
Meanwhile, @savvyfrog enjoys more than 50% (56.129% to be more precise) of every swap on the PPDLR:PEPE token pair, though the question is how much swaps are being done between those tokens in any given period of time. π
!PIZZA
!LOLZ
Indeed, hence how fast my liquidity in that pool keeps growing.
That's great, but yeah, that pool is rarely used to swap, so it doesn't generate fees often. πππβ¨π€
!LOLZ
!PIZZA
Do you mean that your liquidity in the MEME:PEPE token pair grows fast, even if I seldom see people on Hive publishing !MEMEs or at least using the #meme tag? π€
I am planning to ask @savvytester to create a token entitled "Savvy Dollar" on #HiveEngine and create a liquidity pool with it with SWAP.HBD, where both of us will aim to keep that token priced as close to 1 HBD as possible. π There will be the name "test" somewhere on the token name to give way for another "official" token later on. π That will cost them 1,100 BEE tokens though. πΈπ€―π

Yes, though what does that have to do with how fast my liquidity in the pool is growing?
Interesting, and sounds good. It would only be 1,100 BEE if you didn't activate a pool distribution contract for daily rewards. πππβ¨π€

I meant that I think that for the MEME:PEPE liquidity pool to have more swappers, there should be more MEME and/or PEPE tokens in circulation first (typically by such tokens getting earned from author and curator rewards). π€―
I really think that for a test token, a "pool distribution contract" for its liquidity pool (if there already is one) would not be necessary, and would only entail more costs !INDEED. πΈπ

OK, though there definitely seem to be a whole of of both, with MEME being notably more valuable than PEPE.
I'd say that going to the effort of creating a pool for the sole purpose of testing a token is a waste, and it also just creates more noise in the pool lists, so I would very much not recommend doing that. There are more than enough useless pools. πππβ¨π€

I think that someone buying more than 1,000 BEE tokens and creating a liquidity pool using them (where the required BEE tokens are burnt) makes the pool not that "useless" !INDEED. π€π€― Furthermore, if a liquidity pool happens to be "totally useless" (usually determined by most if not all #HiveEngine Witnesses), then any Hive platform that displays Hive Engine liquidity pools may hide (by default or permanently) such pool from its frontend. π€π

I understand the logic, but as someone who works with pools every day, it drives me bananas that there are so many tokens and pools that now have no practical use. I really do wish those could be hidden. πππβ¨π€

Maybe a dev here on Hive would create a Hive app where people on Hive can upvote (without any monetary value) #HiveEngine tokens (weighted using their Hive Power) directly !INDEED, so that the unwanted tokens get ranked lower on the list of Hive Engine tokens (where new tokens with or without votes yet are still published as "recently made tokens"). π€π€―π€

I rather like that idea, and it should be implemented for pools as well. So many good ideas, so few devs and time. πππβ¨π€

You can easily see on the #PeakD frontend all of the Hive Proposals a Hive account has launched, such as the #Honeycomb main developer's proposals at https://peakd.com/me/proposals/disregardfiat. π€π€
The #Honeycomb proposal which got funded a whopping 83,385 HBD has a post where more than half references the DLUX network, whose such network is no longer on Hive according to the DLUX official website. πΈπ€―πΈπ€―π€
Hrrrmmm...OK. It sounds like a lot of money got wasted on basically nothing, which suggests fraud. πππβ¨π€
Anyone who tries to to launch his/her own DUAT and/or DLUX node would fail, as there is not a single (working) node on the respective networks !INDEED. π€π€―π€―π€

Let's !HOPE that devs (either on or off Hive) can still get something useful from the FOSS codes on the DLUX and DUAT code repositories !INDEED. π€π§ββοΈπ€

For sure, and lots of great code slips into oblivion. There should be repository archives, so code is saved for future review and potential use. πππβ¨π€

The Hive blockchain can be a practically free and censorship-resistant archive for such codes, so let's !HOPE that someone launches a dapp which will act as a decentralized alternative to #GitLab and others !INDEED. π€π€ Even if such dapp goes down, the codes saved there will remain for a long time. π€ππ

Yep, true, and that'd be excellent. There's already a decentralized version of GitHub/GitLab on Qortal. πππβ¨π€

In the case of a decentralized git platform, it looks like #Qortal has gone ahead of Hive !INDEED. π€π€― !HOPE that Hive soon follows! π€π

Yes, Qortal is presently far more decentralized than Hive, and there are some fascinating developments in the works. πππβ¨π€

I assume that the fact that #Qortal does not have a "Qortal Power" like "Hive Power" is a big reason why it is more decentralized than Hive !INDEED. π€π§ββοΈππ€
