I just looked at both, and I can't see anything on either interface about witness rewards. Both of those links open in Ecency, by the way. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I literally typed
https://peakd.com/@arcange/wallet
on my previous comment for the #PeakD hyperlink, but the #Ecency frontend automatically changes it to its corresponding Ecency page (even if the link literally leads to a Hive account's wallet page). 🤯🤯😅!WEIRD !INDEED !HOPE !PIZZA
Hrmmm...I don't like that behavior. If we type in specific Hive links, they should open in the correct frontend. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Do you mean that it's okay for the #Ecency frontend to replace links to Hive posts and comments to its own, as long as it does not replace too reserved links (such as for the wallet and settings page)? 🤯🤓

I mean that whatever link we type, is the one that should open, without modification. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

I have read somewhere here on Hive people who think that a possible reason why a Hive frontend may be replacing all links into its own to help with SEO or something. 🤯 Anyway, if you want to prevent the #Ecency frontend from replacing a link, just enclose it with backticks
like this
, but the link will not be clickable and will require the user to copy-paste the link on a web browser to open it. 🤓I know that you would say that you want users have the option to either allow the frontend to replace the links or leave the links as is, because some Ecency users still prefer to have all links to posts, comments, communities, and accounts (among others) on Hive to get redirected within the Ecency platform. 😏 However, there are links which should be reserved (not replaced) no matter the user preference in having links to Hive-based content replaced. 🤯😅
I can see the reasoning in that, but I still despise when links that I share are changed. That's great and all, but I'd really rather not have to finagle a way to make it work the way that I want, or to require more steps for the people with whom links are shared. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Let's hope that someone here on Hive starts an initiative to prevent any Hive blogging frontend from replacing links to posts and comments to their own (unless the user explicitly allows it). 🤗😅

While that'd be great, it's probably unlikely. 😁🙏💚✨🤙

Anyone can technically start an initiative (here on Hive such as that on my previous comment), but the chances of becoming successful is something that will need to be improved. 🧘♂️🤯
Anyway, your "keyboard autocorrect" made you type
it probably unlikely
, probably because it is involved in "link replacements" similar to "word replacements"! 🤯🤣!WEIRD !INDEED !WINEX !ALIVE !HUG
True, and on both counts.
It was just my quickly-typing fingers, as I was using my laptop, just like I am now, so no autocorrect involved at all. 😁🙏💚✨🤙
