Here's my monochrome photo of the day! This is a young variegated hala tree that I have in a pot, ready for planting! They are also called screw pine, because their leaves grow in a spiral pattern. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

A very interesting plant, I thought it was herbaceous and was surprised to learn that it was a tree. This tree and monochrome are made for each other 😃👍🐎🌴

Yes, they sure are interesting! If you can imagine a horde of pineapple plants at the ends of upward-facing branches, you'd get an idea of what they look like! They also have extensive prop roots, which is also fascinating and impressive! I'm glad that you appreciate it, @barski! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
