I've wanted to focus more on onboarding new people to Hive for a while now, and while I have helped a few people set up accounts, none have stayed to become active members of the community.

You're right, it is easy to create a Hive account, and I've done the same, @benthomaswwd, setting things up for people, and showing them how to do things, all to no avail. Now, I simply mention what I do on Hive, and if someone actually shows interest, then I'll persue it to show them the way to become part of it.

I'm always happy and willing to help people, but honestly they also have to be able to recognize Hive for the incredible opportunity that it is. You're right about that, Ben, Hive is not for everyone, appealing to quite a narrow and special portion of the population, who are very much ahead of the curve.

I am considering to start some kind of local club combining onboarding, Hive and activity with something like the actifit app as well just trying to plan out how that will look.
