I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #517 - Keeping Focus, Inspiration, and Motivation in Heartbreak - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Tuesday, December 26, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I love my life, and where and how I live, absolutely yes, and at the same time it is truly not easy. Lower Puna, and GaiaYoga Gardens, are indeed deeply amazing and beautiful places, and yet living here is, and has pretty much always been, deeply challenging, and for many reasons. I'm not here today to complain or to tell you my stories of woe, but rather to share with you that despite the deep challenges and heartbreak that I have experienced, and do experience, in the present version of my life here, that my passion and and love for Hive, as well as my commitment, dedication, determination, consistency, perserverence, persistence, and tenacity for this incredible Blockchain, and what I'm creating and building here, is strong and unwavering.

Regardless of what is happening in my life or what I'm experiencing, I will show up here every day, to continue building and growing, and to help as many others as I'm able as I go. How I am able to maintain my inspiration and motivation so solidly, and over such an extended period of time, is a mystery even to me, but I do.

I rarely go into any depth about why my life is so challenging, or why I feel so much heartbreak, partly because I don't want to bring anybody down, and I want to focus on more positive subjects. Yes, my life has several truly beautiful and excellent aspects and parts, along with a lot of pain, sadness, and grief. I feel deeply, in both directions. This is also part of why I did nothing special for my birthday, Thanksgiving, or Christmas.

I appreciate reading about the lives and experiences of my fellow Hivers/Hivians, that are so different from mine, and sometimes similar, and sharing moments of humor and kindness. I appreciate being able to help people here more and more each day. I appreciate seeing what I've created, built, and grown here over the past two and a quarter years, begin to bear fruit. All these things help me to keep my focus, my inspiration, and my motivation, every day, which then allows me to be able to inspire and motivate others.

Many people disappear from the Blockchain for weeks or months when times get difficult or hard for them. I don't do that. Hive, and what I'm creating, building, and growing here, is far too important for me to consider that option. I'll keep showing up to publish posts, engage and help people, and grow my assets, even if some days I'm hobbling or crawling along. Creating this Hive account was one of the best decisions I've ever made, second only to committing and dedicating myself to my growth on this glorious Blockchain.

I left the Flow House yesterday just before 3PM, after finishing my afternoon essential Hive tasks. As I usually do, I put my focus first on taking photos for the next day's post (this one), which was much easier with the beautiful sunny weather. Once photos were taken, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of Cecropia and Melochia leaves for cow-milking food. Ano and Melekai's 12-year-old son, Elohi, helped out with the process. When that task was completed, I headed to Ano's nursery to do some paid plant work up-potting some caladang (a fruit tree related to jackfruit and chempedak) saplings, and also moving them to an area of the nursery with better light.

When I was done with work, I took a shower, strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself food, and returned to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on notifications. I had quite a lot of notifications, so it took me until just after 12AM to get everything done. I did a short round of token management, then I went to sleep just before 12:30AM. I slept reasonably well, waking up around 7AM, doing another round of token management, then getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee.

It's now almost 1PM, so it's a good time to wrap up this post, so that I can get to my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House in the late afternoon to take photos for tomorrow's incarnation of this post, and then land work. I deeply appreciate you all so very much! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
