I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #494 - Direct Asset Transfers Between Blockchain Nation Allies - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Sunday, December 3, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I've spoken quite a lot lately about Hive's fellow sovereignty-driven Blockchain Nation Allies, Qortal, Bastyon, Holochain,and Koinos, and for good reason, as each of these Blockchain Ecosystems is quite incredible in its own way, and there can indeed be great reciprocal benefit from interconnection, friendship, cooperation, and collaboration between them. One very useful step in this direction would be the ability to easily send assets (coins and tokens) directly from any of these blockchains to any other. This would indeed require cooperation and collaboration to make this type of economic and financial interconnectivity and interoperability possible.

As an example of this on Hive, I'd love to see Bastyon and Qortal's native coins, PKOIN and QORT (the ones with which I have the most experience), able to be received and sent on Hive Engine via respective SWAP tokens, so SWAP.PKOIN and SWAP.QORT. This would be exceedingly useful for me because I'm growing my holdings on all three blockchains, as well as having the effect of creating more use cases for, and strengthening, each Blockchain.

This kind of potential asset exchange already exists for Hive and Qortal, because both have their own internal decentralized exchange that allows for the receiving, holding, and sending of off-chain coins such as BTC, LTC, and DOGE (against SWAP.HIVE on Hive and against QORT on Qortal), which are assets that they both share in common. Bastyon doesn't have any sort of DEX as of yet, so in the short term any coding to implement inter-blockchain asset transfers for that blockchain would have to be done on Hive and Qortal's side of things.

Hive presently still has the greatest potential and practical income generation, as on Hive there are innumerable ways to create profit. Creating income on Bastyon and Qortal is a bit more limited in scope without much asset synergy possible, but still very doable and useful. On Bastyon I earn PKOIN from upvotes on my posts and comment, and on Qortal I earn QORT for keeping my minting node (running on my laptop) online.

Even with the limited BTC-LTC-DOGE interconnectivity that presently exists between Hive and Qortal, an easy and functional asset-transfer framework does exist, and one of which I will indeed make use over time, and likely in both directions. With a solid base of operation on three sovereignty-driven blockchains, an easy, fast, effective, and efficient means of transferring assets between them is essential for me, which is why I will do whatever I'm able to nudge things in that direction. I believe this would be a very good thing for all three Allied Blockchain Nations.

Yesterday, being Sunday, was a day spent focused almost entirely on Hive, with a short break taken to take photos for this post, strain out and blend kefir, and make myself some food. Pretty much the rest of my time was spent on Hive tasks, including lots of token management, and of course a great deal of focus on catching up on, and staying caught up on, my prolific notifications, as well as compiling all of the token data for, and writing, My 79th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update: Dolphin Level Achieved, 2/3 Weekly Goals Surpassed, and Bots Working Again!, which I was determined to complete and publish as early as I could. Thankfully I was able to get it done and published just after 11PM. I stayed up for a little longer to do a bit more token management, and then peruse Qortal and Bastyon for a bit, before finally going to sleep around 12:30AM.

Super thankfully I slept well last night, waking up around 6:30AM, doing a short round of token management, and uploading the photos for this post, before getting out of bed around 8AM to go make my superfood fire coffee. I was able to make some good headway on this post before I had to attend the Leadership Council meeting from 10:30AM until 12PM, which was great. I also worked on it throughout the meeting as well (when I wasn't needed for anything), and once the meeting ended, I returned to the Flow House to finish it.

It's approaching 12:45PM now, so it's a very good time to end this post, so that I can get into my essential Hive tasks, before going to do land work later in the afternoon. I deeply appreciate you all very much! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
