I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #493 - Both Year-End Goals Smashed, and Looking to the New Year - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, December 2, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I had two year-end goals for the #SaturdaySavers Club this year, to reach dolphin level and to reach 200 HBD in Savings, both of which amazingly have already been reached. I had already surpassed my goal for HBD in Savings a fair while ago, and my giant powerup to dolphin 🐬 level for #HPUD checked off the second goal. That's a pretty great way to head into the new year! With this year's goals already reached, it's time to put my focus on the goals for this coming year.

While my next main short-term goal is to reach orca level (on my path to Hive millionaire whale 🐳 fairy 🧚‍♂️), that's a huge leap, so I'll break it down into smaller chunks. I'm just about at 5,800 HP now, so I think a reasonable goal for the new year is to reach 10,000 HP. That's very doable, and yet it's also a nice stretch.

At the moment I have just about at 220 HBD in Savings, which is growing pretty quickly, so I'm thinking that a good goal for it this coming year would be to reach 500 HBD in Savings. Again, very doable, and yet a fair stretch too. My ultimate goal for HBD in Savings is to accumulate several hundred thousand, which would provide substantial interest every month, that I could use for all manner for things, from boosting my Hive Power, funding on and off-chain projects, and being able to live off of it.

My third main goal for the new year is to reach 70 reputation. Presently I am at 68.627, so not too far too go, but since each numerical level is 30% more difficult than the previous one, it's not a rapid process. Big upvotes on my posts make it jump quite nicely, but that's also what makes predicting and choosing goals for reputation so challenging, so it's always a bit of a shot in the dark. I think that I do have a reasonable chance of reaching this goal, but it's going to take a lot of great posts!

This past year on Hive has been a really great one for me, and I believe that 2024 will be even better! I've grow my account immensely this year, and it's only been going faster, so I'm excited to see how quickly I'm able to reach this new set of goals!

Saturday, yesterday, I finished up my essential Hive tasks around 3PM, which is when I left the Flow House to take more photos for this post (I had already taken a few in the morning), and then to put my focus on some land work. My first task, after taking photos, was to get my machete to collect a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage, for the next morning's (today's) cow-milking food. When I had that completed, I sharpened my machete, then I did a good round of clearing along the second driveway, and down into a trail that goes from the second driveway into the new orchard in front, as the cane grass was getting a bit out of hand, and mostly hiding the trail. Ano came to help clear for a short while too. Ano had asked for some bodywork, so after clearing, I took a shower, then I went to the Ka to work on him for about an hour.

After finishing working on Ano, I strained out kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself some food, got food for my kitty friend, then I returned to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive catch-up and tasks, which I finally finished just before 12AM. I did a short round of token management, before finally going to bed. I did thankfully sleep well, waking up around 6:30AM, doing another short round of token management, then getting out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee.

It's just after 12:15PM now, so it's a good time to end this post, so that I can get to my more-thorough Sunday round of Hive tasks and catching up on notifications, before putting my focus on compiling and writing my 79th Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update, which I'll publish later tonight. I will also have to take a break to take photos for tomorrow's incarnation of this post, and stain out and blend kefir. My main goal today is to publish my Goals and Progress Update as early as I can, hopefully before 11PM. I deeply appreciate you all so very much!
