I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #489 - Preparation for My Big Power Up Tomorrow - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Tuesday, November 28, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Tomorrow sometime after 2PM my time, which is when UTC changes to the next day, I'll be doing my mega powerup of 2,715+ HIVE for the December 1st #HPUD, and attaining dolphin 🐬 level in the process. I've had to wait patiently for almost a week, and it has not been easy, because I'm really excited! To make good use of my time, I've been going though a process of power-up preparation, to be properly ready for the big day.

Last night, after I finished catching up on my Hive notifications, I put together a special cover image for my #HPUD post which I'll write and publish right after powering up and taking screenshots. I stayed up a bit later than I had intended to get it done, but I was happy with the result when it was done. I actually redid it, as I didn't like the first version that much. I also put together the skeleton of my #HPUD post, and saved it as a draft, ready for tomorrow!

In my post three days ago I asked about good community-curation accounts that people could recommend to me, and I got some good suggestions. This morning I've been looking more closely at which new community-curation accounts that I'm actually going to add. These new accounts will be in addition to giving all the present accounts to which I delegate a very good boost. Extrapolating my total HP after powerup, and given that I always intend to keep my HP delegation percentage at 50%, I should have just over 1,400 Hive Power to delegate to present and new community-curation accounts! Amazingballs!

I just did all the math for the exact amounts of HP to delegate to all existing and new account delegations, so now there's no doubt about how much is going to which accounts. That will save so much time when I'm actually ready to delegate! Excellent! In the process I learned that HP can be delegated not only to @lolzbot, but also to any of the LOLZ team's curation accounts, which includes all of their layer-2 curation accounts, and their curation-trail account, @lolz.curate. Fascinating!

In writing this post, I went down the list of all the important things to do after my big powerup tomorrow, so now everything is clear, and I feel ready to go for #HPUD! Yahooey!

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House around 3PM, after finishing my afternoon essential Hive tasks. I spent a little time taking photos for this post before diving into land work. Unfortunately I didn't get as much done as I would have liked, but I got two important things done at least. My first focus was to help Ano's mother, Braja, with a few small tasks at her house. That didn't take very long, and soon I was on to my next job, which as to get my machete and collect of wheelbarrow full of assorted edible tree leaves for the next morning's cow-milking food. That process took a little longer, and as I was working, dark storm clouds moved in, and it began to rain. Luckily the rain was light at first, which gave me enough time to finish up before it began to rain more heavily, which it started doing a short time after.

The heavier rain truncated my land work a bit, so I made the best of it and just continued on with my evening. I took a shower, strained out more kefir for my kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao blend, made myself some food, got food for my kitty friend, then I returned to the Flow House for my evening round of Hive tasks and catching up on notifications. I was able to complete everything just after 9:45PM, which is when I did a little token management, and then I started working on the cover image for my #HPUD post that I mentioned above. Once I finished the image, I went straight to sleep a little after 12AM. I slept well until just before 3:30AM, and unable to sleep, I did a little token management, and then made another attempt at sleep, which sadly did not go exceedingly well, so I propped myself up in bed and focused on completing @benthomaswwd's @heartbeatonhive contest, and then I finally got out of bed to go make my superfood fire coffee just before 9:30AM.

When I was down blending my nutrient-dense, spicy, and yummy brew with the VitaMix, Iolanthe (Ano and Melekai's 11-year-old daughter) asked me if I would make some breakfast and squeeze some fresh orange juice for her, which I did. She also asked me to hang out with her for a little bit, before she and Jo(hana) went to milk the cow. I finally got back up to the Flow House just after 10:30AM, and given the time, I immediately began writing this post.

It's now just after 1:15PM, so it's a marvelous time to end this post, so that I can put my focus on my afternoon round of essential Hive tasks, before going to take photos for tomorrow's iteration of this post, and then land work in the later afternoon.
