I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #366 - Stay Focused on the Hive Goal and Good, Ignore the Noise - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Friday, July 28, 2023

I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Hive is next-level amazingballs, and I love and believe in it to an immense degree, as most of you know well. That doesn't mean, however, that there are not things here that rub me the wrong way, or that I really don't like. There most definitely are, but the present reality and future potential of Hive is so great, that I don't allow what I don't like to take the main focus of my attention off of what I love here.

What are some of the things that I don't like, you might ask? There are three primary irritations. One, the mind-boggling lack of awareness that I sometimes encounter in posts. It seriously blows my mind what some people think and say. Oh well, that's the state of humanity right now, and Hive being a cross-section of the world, it will appear here too. The second thing is how incredibly poorly downvoting is sometimes used, destroying the reputations of accounts, and driving a lot of quite amazing people away from Hive. This one has bothered me pretty strongly since the beginning, since I've seen it first-hand. Once someone gets on a particular whale's bad side, usually for saying one thing or other, or sharing particular types of information, that individual can't make a post without it being zeroed out, and his or her reputation getting smashed. Quite a few people have left over this, which saddens me immensely. The third issue for me are the numerous bugs that I encounter every day on the various front ends that I use. To say that some of these bugs are annoying is an understatement to the max. Everything we have here is community-developed, so there will be bugs, of course. They do generally get fixed in time, though, which is always wondeful to see.

If I love and believe in something, or someone, I am tenaciously loyal, and so it is with Hive, even with the disonances here, I'm solidly committed, dedicated, and devoted to growing this glorious Blockchain, and everyone that's a part of it, to the best of my ability at any particular time. I ignore the noise, and I keep my eyes squarely on my goals here, and on what I truly do deeply appreciate and love about Hive.

One practice that helps me keep the proper perspective on Hive when something frustrates me, is to pan out and look at Hive as the unbroken whole that it is. I'd say that this is useful as much in life as here on the Blockchain, as it help to not throw the baby out with the bath water, and to keep focused on what is truly important. That is what is most important for me on Hive, to stay focused on what is most significant, real, meaningful, and valuable, and to amplify it.

In the previous iteration of this post yesterday I mentioned that I had a session scheduled with Omya, and that I wanted to get as much of my Hive catch-up and tasks completed before the session. Omya arrived around 10:45PM, we started our session around 11AM, and it continued until about 3:45PM, so it was a session of normal length at almost five hours. Omya left very happy, soft, and grateful, which was my desire and intention.

After the session, I got some water to drink, walked around to take some photos for this post, and then I headed back to the Flow House to continue with the Hive catch-up that I had paused when Omya arrived, and to finish my superfood fire coffee, which also got paused. I was many hours behind in my notifications, so it took me a fair while, with a break to make food, to fully catch up again, and to get all of my daily tasks done. I finally was able to get everything fully caught up again, and all tasks done, by around 10:30PM, at which point I crashed into bed.

I didn't sleep very well last night, so I feel a bit tired and sleepy now. I may take a nap soon. It's now just after 12PM, so a great time to end this post for the moment. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow morning! Onward and upward, together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
