I live barefooted and naked, very close to Earth and Nature, in a 16-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i. I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I've heard multiple times already, in various posts, that Hive is not sexy. The perspective basically says that Hive is get-rich-slow-and-steady, and not fast and flashy, like certain other crypto projects, so it's not sexy. I don't agree with this. I think that Hive's get-rich-slow-and-steady dependeblilty is the epitome of cryptosexy!
Hive's solid, stable, dependable trickle of wealth is far sexier than any get-rich-quick flashy crypto project that is mostly fantasy. Hive is the real deal.
Those that are willing to commit and dedicate themselves to growing here have the real potential to create substantial wealth (in all contexts) over time. Now that's sexy!
Today was a mostly sunny jungle Tusday, with warm and comfortable temperatures. The lovely weather did not allude to the challenges that awaited me today, however.
It wasn't only challenging experiences today. There were some really beautiful ones as well. The not-so-fun experiences definitely colored the day, though.
Shakira will be leaving tomorrow, after having lived here for several months. Aloha and Mahina, along with their younger brother Akua, are going back to Oahu to live with their mother in a few days. I'm going to miss all of them. I love this place, but I sure wish more people stayed.
Because people that I love and for whom I care are leaving, I spent time with them all today, playing in the pool with Aloha and Mahina, and working in the nursery up-potting plants with them and Shakira.
It's now past 1AM, and I'm very sleepy and exhausted, so I must take my leave to sleep. I deeply appreciate you all! Until tomorrow! Onward and upward, together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Yes, we did share contact info. It's looking like Marko and his three kids (Aloha, Mahina, and Akua) will be staying longer now. If they do move I definitely want to check in on them. In total I've been out here in the jungle at GaiaYoga Gardens for 4 years, 2 months, and 2 weeks. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

There are quite a few challenges, like the jungle eating everything, everything growing so quickly (that's also a good thing), generating money at times, romantic partnerships being very rare, among others. I love living here, though, and it's worth any difficulties. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙

Have you heard about https://wwoof.net/ ? People from all around the world spend a summer/season or just a few weeks working at an organic farm (which surely your jungle would count as), more or less for food and board. I learned about it from my old math teacher who nowadays runs a farm and apple orchard outside Stockholm, and according to their website they have between 50 and 60 WWOOFers a year, plenty of them coming back again and again, and some are now permanent residents instead of WWOOFers. It might be a way to make your place more visible, and maybe find more inhabitants.

Found your entry! I understand no smoking, and thoroughly approve of no (recreational) drugs. But what, no alcohol? With all those fruits and plants and coconuts growing everywhere, surely someone wants to make some wine? Or at least a bottle of vinegar or two? Fermentation is a natural process, dammit! And vindaloo is a fundamental right of foodies across the universe. 👊
Also, I've been taught that flavours are either water-, fat-, or alcohol solubles. That makes me think it isn't only flavours, but other useful things - vitamins? trace elements? amino acids? whatnots? - that may sometimes need alcohol to do their best. So you're not only missing out on a third of tastiness, but other uses too? 😿 Take a very basic vinaigrette for example. Mustard seeds, garlic, tarragon, oil and vinegar. The oil draws out some flavours from the first three ingredients, and the vinegar enhances some others. Replace the vinegar with lemon juice, and sure, you get the same acidity, and it can be very tasty, but some dimensions are missing.
It surprised me that your rules say WWOOFers can only stay for one month and then have to pay for some class to stay longer and become residents - just the one-way airfare to get to your place from Western Europe is more than a month's income for many people after all, and I have no idea what the journey would cost if I lived in Asia or Australia. Probably a lot cheaper from North America than South America though, in terms of average income? So for me that'd be a turn off. I'd want to stay a lot longer on the food-and-a-place-to-sleep terms! Judging from my Hive performance so far, I'd need about 25 years before I could afford to either take the class or leave. 😹
Hahaha...I love your comments! The rules on alcohol, entheogenic plants and mushrooms, coffee, smoking, etc. is only for the first three month. The idea is so people can be with their own experience without any kind of crutch for a time. After that first three months people can have a conversation about bringing things back into their experience. There isn't a ban on anything mentioned above. People have made wine and mead here. I plan on making some medicinal mead soon. It's all just a balance thing. Femented foods are fine, and I make and use many different sorts.
In terms of people coming here, there is usually the willingness to work with different people's individual needs and situations. I didn't have a hand in any of the rules mentioned on the site, though I do have more input now. There's always a way if there is desire. Many people come and end up staying for many months, or longer. While people from the US are more common, people from other counties come often too. There is a woman from Switzerland here now.
I know some of the rules on the site can seem off-putting, but the people here are very kind-hearted, and are willing to work with people if it's feasible. 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
Get rich quick for most people is a fantasy it is what other people try and sell to get people to be involved in things to boost their earnings. 🤑
The truth is to get rich quick takes a lot of effort that most people don't see because you need to have a big network in place for this to be a success or you have to be extremely lucky. 🍀
To build a big network takes time and effort even if it was not for the purpose of getting rich originally, luck will only get you so far and is really unlikely for most.⏲
Sometimes people will just say stuff looking for excuses as to why they are not rich and why it is taking them a long time to build income on Hive or anywhere else.
The truth most likely is they are not putting in enough effort or being consistent so it is easy to blame something or someone else for their short comings this is the entitled world we live in these days. 🤣
Most people will only try hard at something for a small amount of time and bail as soon as they run out of steam or come up against obstacles.
Others use their negative broken mindset to try and other Hive because they want to drive people to some other platform they will give up on when it gets real. 😜
If you are an entrepreneur or a business owner you will experience these people daily honestly people just need to accept they are failing then they can work on finding a solution instead of complaining. 🤣
