I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1495 - Another Bump to Our Daily HIVE Income, and Solid Progress Using Ox Alpha with Hermes Agent - Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, August 22, 2026

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
It's been two days since I began working with the anonymous free cloud-based AI model Ox Alpha in Hermes Agent, and in that time very notable progress has been made with testing and finding viable build and run flags, across multiple llama.cpp forks and models, on my laptop. After two days of testing, the best combinations are using llama-cpp-turboquant with Unsloth's versions of Gemma 26B-A4B QAT and Qwen3.6 35B-A3B, with the other llama.cpp forks and models giving suboptimal performance on my hardware with its resource constraints.

Now that I have a working baseline for local models with Hermes, and because I'm currently working with a much more capable cloud-based model, the next order of operation to to use it to assess, review, clean up, and organize my current Hermes Agent setup and landscape. Hermes, running Ox Alpha, is in the middle of doing just that as I type, and quite quickly and effectively. Working with a capable model makes quite a notable difference indeed.

Working with a cloud-based model in Hermes means that I'm not constrained by my laptop's hardware and system resources, which is a huge help, and it's exactly what allowed me to run above-mentioned necessary tests with the local models that I have downloaded. Hermes has already finished the self-audit and cleanup, and now we're moving on to defining and creating new agent profiles, so as to make the best use of Hermes and its capabilities with both the local and cloud-based models.

If my progress continues at the pace that it's going now, I'll very soon have two capable Hermes agents, one using a local model, and one using a free cloud-based model, to work independently or together, on the assorted and diverse goals, focuses, purposes, and tasks that I set. That's pretty freaking sweet.

Some other good news that I have to share, and on a slightly different topic, is that the 4+ remaining HBD fully unstaked on @aliveandthriving this morning, which I immediately swapped for 103 HIVE, and then I powered it up on @aliveandthriving, and I delegated it to Bradley (@bradleyarrow). This brought the total amount delegated to Bradley to over 603 HP, which is just under the amount of HP that I have delegated to him on my own account. That will be another nice bump to our daily HIVE income. Things are certainly moving a bit more quickly now on this front, and with it our HIVE income, which is excellent indeed.

Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by just before 2:45PM. I left so late because Ano was doing some electrical work on a problematic line, so the power went out multiple times, which caused me some very frustrating technological issues that took me time to resolve. I gave my attention to some photography for my posts first, to a quick food-supply run to Tutu's to restock Wabisabi, and then to assisting Ano in unloading his truck after his Friday coconut-collecting trip and reloading it for the Sunday market. Aside from harvesting a rack of ripe bananas, and chopping and dumping bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, I didn't get into any other work tasks, opting instead to walk around, enjoying the beautiful weather, as I took more photos for my posts. I finally went to Wabisabi in the early evening, to make myself some food, to collect my leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with those in hands I headed back to the Flow House to scan my X feed a bit more, and to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by just before 9:30PM, and after working with Hermes a bit more, and scanning my X feed, I went to bed by about 11:30PM. I woke up by around 8:15AM, having slept well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House, to work some more with Hermes, and to write this post. It's now just before 2PM, so it's an excellent time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my numerous other important Sunday Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon (hopefully not in the rain, as it's raining now), to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my Weekly-Hive-Goals-and-Progress Update as soon as I'm able to do it, and the next iteration of these posts tomorrow! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨👍

2026 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.

Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

The higher in the witness ranking we go, the more that we'll be able to grow the We Are Alive Tribe, and the more that we'll be able to share with all of you!

If you appreciate what we're doing with the We Are Alive Tribe, and feel inspired and motivated to lend a hand in building and growing our decentralized community economy and financial framework, which benefits all of us, community conntributions/donations/investments may be sent to our 'We Are Alive Tribe Sovereign Wealth Investment Fund' account, @waat-swif. They're deeply appreciated, and are put to very good use.

Bjorn is our badass coder who hosts and manages our (and also Bradley's) community backends, he creates all sorts of useful tools, and he assists people all over the Blockchain constantly. He redefines the term 'busy'!

Witness Node!

Bradley's tenaciously committed and all-in on Hive for the long haul (just like me!), and the higher his witness goes in the ranking, the higher the weekly BBH and BBHO dividend payouts will be!
