I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Well, I'm happy to say that the hurricane that past through our area the day before, and most strongly yesterday, has finally left, though it's still pretty cloudy, with rain on and off, but at least there are no more strong winds. I'm also happy to report that the Flow House, the open-air bamboo yurt up on the lava where I live, also came through the storm just fine. It's a little damp on the floor inside, but that's about it, for which I'm super grateful.

The rain and wind yesterday was pretty intense all day, and a few structures did sustain some damage, though nothing too bad. I was also very thankfully able to keep all my technology dry in the Kazbah, where I slept again last night.

Since the weather outside was so intense, I spent a good portion of the day, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, installing and setting up Arch Linux on two of Avi's laptops. I hadn't installed Arch, which is done via the command line, in a while, but between my saved notes and my memory, everything went very smoothly. I was happy to wipe Windows and install a far better operating system.

The power in the Kazbah went out last night, which I thought was due to the solar-electric batteries crashing, even though I ran the generator for a while, but it turned out, upon closer investigation in the morning, to be an entire line shorting out, with power to the rest of the property working fine. I spent over 2 hours this morning running around investigating and troubleshooting, but in the end I decided to move my technology back to the Flow House, since it still had electricity.

Once I finish and publish this post, and get to my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, I imagine that the rest of today will entail putting everything back in order, and helping with troubleshooting and repairs. It's still raining quite a lot, in waves, so everything is still very wet, which are definitely not the most inspiring or motivating conditions for outdoor work. If y'all have some sunshine where you are, send some my way!

Yesterday, Saturday, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks by around 2PM, I stayed in the Kazbah for most of the day, as mentioned above, installing Arch Linux on a friend's two laptops. I went to Wabisabi in the early evening to make myself some food, before heading back to the Kazbah to scan my X feed a bit more, and to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by around 10PM, and after installing Arch Linux on the last laptop, I went to bed by a little after 12:15AM. I woke up by a little after 7AM, having slept well, heading immediately to Tutu's to collect a full propane take to start the generator. As I said, I ran all over the place for a good while, before finally setting my technology back up in the Flow House, and going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, returning to the Flow House immediately afterward to begin writing this post. It's now just after 12:30PM, so it's a very good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on a bit of jungle-community/land work and tasks. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
