I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

I've mentioned multiple times now that the rate of development in the AI domain is going faster than in any other area of tech in which I've been involved, where months and years of development in other tech fields are compressed down to mere days and weeks. It's honestly blowing my mind, because what was not possible even a short time ago, now is not only possible, but already happening.

There is a pretty notable divide in the AI community between closed-source, closed-weight, corporate-controlled, paid cloud-based models, and open-source, open-weight, free local models, and as certain AI corporations push government to restrict free and open-weight models, so that they themselves can be the gatekeepers, this divide is only growing larger every day. The local open-weight community, with which I am very much aligned, believes that every individual should have access to the same AI intelligence and agentic tools, so that everyone is on the same footing and playing field, while the big AI corporations want to be able to decide who is allowed to do what.

Very, very soon AI models more capable and powerful than the absolute best closed-weight corporate models today will be easily available to everyone, and for free. With the current rate of development and trajectory, that isn't just a possibility, but almost certain.

There's even some exceedingly interesting experiments and developments in progress now that would allow anyone to adapt, mold, refine, align, and attune their own locally-run AI models. What this means in practice is that the usually-static AI models that people (like me) run locally, will not only be easily molded into what best fits each individual, but also to self evolve, using AI-agent frameworks like Hermes Agent, OpenClaw, or Pi Agent, among others, that actually rewrite the models' weights. This is a whole other level of the AI game entirely!

Free, open-source, open-weight, agentic AI that is available to anyone, and that is able to develop, adapt, refine, and improve itself over time is extraordinarily powerful, and it is not without dangers, that's for sure, but from my perspective it is far better for these potent tools to be available to everyone, rather than being gated and controlled by a handful of self-appointed 'guardians' (wolf in sheep's clothing). Sovereignty is not without its challenges and dangers, but its freedom is infinitely better than slavery, no matter how comfortable or convenient.

Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, by a little after 1:30PM, heading to the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn first to lay in the sunshine for a while. Once I had my fill of sun, I went to chop and dump bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and then, after collecting my machete, I did another round of clearing in the front orchard. With that finally completed for the day, I took a shower, made myself some food in Wabisabi, collected my leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with those in hands I headed back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks. I got through all of my notifications by just after 10:15PM, and after scanning my X feed a bit more, I went to bed by a bit before 11PM. I woke up by just before 6AM, having slept well, going to prepare my superfood fire coffee in Wabisabi, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:15PM, so it's an exceedingly good time to wrap this up, so that I may attend to my few other important Hive-Blurt-'We Are Alive Tribe' tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on some photography for my posts, and then on some jungle-community/land work and tasks. 2026 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
