I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1178 - BPUD Today, 14,200 HP This Coming Week, and More Blockchain Explorations! - Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, October 18, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 7 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Although BPUD (BBHO Powerup Day) is technically tomorrow, in my Hawaiian time zone, UTC switches to a new day at 2PM, so anytime after that, I'm good to go. Also, given that it's Sunday, which means that I have my Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update to write tomorrow morning, and tonight is really the only window of time that I'll have to write and publish my BPUD post, I'll get to that in the early evening, before I start with my usual evening Hive and Blurt tasks. I'm ready with over 900 liquid BBHO to power up, which will take me past 14.5K staked BBHO. I'm getting closer every month to my year-end goal of 20,000 staked BBHO, which I may indeed achieve.

My HP is growing notably more quickly as of late, with me only having reached 14,000 HP the week before, passing 14,100 HP this week, and by the looks of it at the moment, I will very likely smash 14,200 Hive Power before the end of the new week to come. So I've been gaining about 100 HP per week since crossing the milestone of 14,000 HP, which given the fact that I need to achieve 15,000 Hive Power in 9 weeks time (due to a Saturday Savers Club challenge), this is a very good thing indeed.

Hive Power and HBD in Savings give very good bang for the buck in terms of Hive investments, as there are (and will be soon with VSC) so many ways to use them, as I was mentioning in my post a bit yesterday. Because they are both so incredibly useful in so many different ways, I'm obviously working intently to grow them as much, and as quickly, as I'm able. My ever-increasing HP gives my post, comment, witness, and proposal votes more punch and weight, it brings in more from curation rewards, and when delegated and leased, it allows me to invest in, and grow layer-2 assets (some of which boost HP growth) more strongly as time progresses.

With sufficient Hive Power, and making use of delegations and leases, I would be able to invest huge amounts over time into my holding and stake of important layer-2 tokens, into diesel/liquidity pools, and if HIVE ever breaks $1 again, into HBD in Savings as well. This is pretty exciting, and it helps focus my future external investments (both crypto and fiat) that I'll make into Hive.

As many of you know, I'm an intrepid blockchain explorer, with accounts and experience on several blockchains (Bastyon, Blurt, DeSo, Koinos, Qortal, Vi, and of coure Hive) and I'm always on the lookout for interesting new blockchain projects that come onto the scene. When I was listening to one of the replays of HiveFest 10 last night, I caught wind of another fascinating community-driven blockchain, Alephium. I did a little poking around and exploring earlier today on Alephium websites, and I decided to create an account/wallet, which was quite simple and quick. I have lots more exploring to do, but it's looking pretty nifty so far. Since the We Are Alive Tribe is now a multi-blockchain community, you could think of me as our community scout, going out to explore and establish a base on an ever-growing assortment of new potential Alive Tribe blockchains. What do you think that our next blockchain should be after Hive and Blurt (we've still got lots to do and grow on Blurt)?

Yesterday, Saturday, after finishing up my Hive tasks by a little after 12:30PM, I helped Chelsea access more files on her MacOS-formatted external hard drive (since her Mac died) from one of Arch Linux installations. We also shared a lovely conversation for a while, as files were transferring. When we finally finished up with that, I left the Flow House a little after 3PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. Once I had a nice batch of shots taken, I went to chop and dump bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and to tidy up the area a bit. With the coco bar done, I decided to go to the Landing to make a batch of my special spiced-and-seasoned popcorn, and to nibble on some leftover food that I had in the fridge. Once I had my fill of both, I collected my jar of superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with that in hand, I headed back to the Flow House, to get an early start on my evening Hive and Blurt tasks (since, because it was quite cloudy during the day, I had the accurrate feeling that our solar electrical batteries would crash at some point during the night), and to catch up on my Hive notifications. I was able to get through everything quite quickly, finishing up by around 8:30PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed very early, about 10:15PM. I woke up just before 6AM, having slept well, feeling extremely frustrated and irritated seeing that our solar elecrical system's batteries had crashed during the night again, spending way too much time babysitting the batteries two times as I waited for the battery charge to rise high enough to turn the electricity back on again, making my superfood fire coffee in the Landing (I had to pause due to the electricity crashing again), then finally returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1:45PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my few other important Hive and Blurt tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, straining and blending coconut kefir, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my BPUD post later this evening, my Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update tomorrow morning, and the next edition of these posts tomorrow afternoon! 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
