I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1145 - Slightly Overextended on HP Leases, and Another Way to Create a Free Blurt Account - Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Monday, September 15, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Hive Power leases have been kind of a gamechanger for me in terms of my diesel/liquidity-pool investments, as along with my other regular sources of it (like diesel/liquidity pools and BBH drips), they have provided me with a regular stream of SWAP.HIVE, which has allowed me to continue going deeper into an increasing number of pools. The fiat value of my assets in diesel/liquidity pools will soon exceed what it presently is for the layer-2 token holdings and stake in my wallet. That's pretty nifty, because there are many very profitable pools.

Because HP leases have been so useful to me, I've gotten into the habit of scanning the open lease requests on Hive Engine quite regularly, and if there's one too good to pass up, I'll accept it. Although I wasn't expecting it, since I already had 3 active leases that totaled 2,000 Hive Power delegated, that's exactly what happen this morning. I saw the best lease offer that I had ever seen, 1,000 HP for 9 weeks, and a 10.39% APR, that would give a bit over 0.3 SWAP.HIVE daily, and even though it would push me a bit over a comfortable limit for delegated HP, I accepted it.

I try to keep my HP delegations at around 50% of my total Hive Power, so with this new HP lease accepted, it's now a bit lopsided, and I'm a bit overextended in terms of delegations, by about 1,273 HP. While that is not ideal, as my voting power and curation rewards will drop a little, the investment boost that I'll receive for the pools makes it worth it I believe. No more new delegations for a while, however, until my HP growth catches up.

When I was upvoting posts on Blurt this morning, I came across another free way to create a Blurt account, https://blurt.pl/en/, which is a Blurt frontend for the Polish community. Of the three account-creation options offered, it's the one on the left. It will give an account-creation voucher, that can then be used to create an account.

Free account-creation options are an excellent way to ease and smooth onboarding to both Hive and Blurt, and I make sure to keep track of them when I find them. Now there are two ways to create a Blurt account of which I'm aware. This should help in getting other Alive Tribe members on Hive to join us on Blurt as well. Our Blurt contingent is growing steadily, with the We Are Alive Tribe community on Blurt presently having 21 subscribers, and 10 posts published in it, which is an excellent start indeed. I have very good feelings about what is to come, for the We Are Alive Tribe, Hive, Blurt, and for humanity the world. May it be so.

Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a bit later than expected due to rain, around 2PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and collecting coconut water and coconut meat from several younger coconuts for another round of kefir fermentation. When I had those both completed, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, before getting my machete to do some clearing along the driveway between the Landing and the Flow House. After getting a good chunk of land cleared, I took one more short break, tossed some laundry in the washer, then I went the other side of the property to assist with putting a new liner in the lower rain-catchment tank. Once that was finally finished, I headed back to the other side of the property to make myself some food (spiced-and-seasoned mini beef patties, and horseradish mustard), and with that and my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee in hand, I returned to the Flow House to begin on my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had to pause that to go attend the Monday community logistics meeting in Tutu's, from which I left a little early, as it was already quite late, to make my way back to the other side of the property to the Flow House, to get back to Hive. Due to the meeting taking so much time, I wasn't able to get through all my notifications before I had to stop a bit after 11:30PM, to do more asset management, and then to go to bed just before 12AM. I woke up rather late, as bit after 7:45AM, having thankfully slept well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12PM, so it's quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other few important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
