I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1143 - The Ethos, Purpose, Mission, and Focus of The We Are Alive Tribe - Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, September 13, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

In a post a few days ago I asked members of the community their perspectives about what the the core foundations of the We Are Alive Tribe might be, as I feel that we are at a significant point of redefinition, clarification, growth, and expansion, and everyone has a say. Today I thought that I'd do my best to put to words, and to attempt to elucidate, what I think and feel are, or should be, our core ethos, mission, purpose, and focus as a community.

First and foremost, I'd say that the We Are Alive Tribe is all about mutual support, in our dreams and desires, our achievements and successes, our challenges and failures, and in sharing wealth and lifting each other financially as we grow together. We leverage and grow our assets for the benefit of all. As Ben so succinctly stated, we're here to support you on your journey of achieving your personal and financial goals.

The next very significant aspect that I would mention is being kind, caring, respectful, authentic, open, honest, dependable, and trustworthy human beings with each other, and with the greater Hive and Blurt communities. This can't be overstated, as it's the basis of being able to collaborate, build, and grow with each other over time. We may not agree on everything, but we can still come together in mutual respect to co-create for the good of all.

My principle of Maximum Mutual Benefit aligns perfectly with the We Are Alive Tribe, so I'll include that too, because we work to build systems that are maximumly-mutually-beneficial for all of us, that will grow and become even more so over time. This is actually very fun and meaningful for me, and it's something that gets a good deal of my focus. I think of it as a long-term investment in our ever-increasing success.

Something else which I consider very important is working as much as possible to make the We Are Alive Tribe a community of tight-knit, passionate, resilient, adaptable, and loyal members, a true team, tribe, and family, that will endure and grow over the course of time, even beyond our lifetimes. Our intention is to create a legacy for future genrations, that will span the world. Well, there you go, that's my first attempt at putting what the We Are Alive Tribe is, and for what it stands. I'd love to hear your thoughts and feelings on what I've shared here today, and ideas that I might not have mentioned.

Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, a little after 1:30PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, buzzing my head and face with my electric clippers, and collecting coconut water and coconut meat from several younger coconuts to start another round of kefir fermenting. When I had those completed, I took a quick asset-management break up at the Flow House, after which I went to weed the new yacón bed that we recently planted, a task in which Ano came to assist me. Once that was finished, I went to chop and dump bad/used coconuts at the upper coco bar, and to tidy the area a bit. After that was done, I took a shower, then I stopped by the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge, and with that in hand, I made my way back to the Flow House to begin my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I got everything done by just after 10PM, and after some asset management, I went to bed just before 12AM. Unfortunately I woke up around 3AM, and even though I tried, I wasn't really able to sleep any more, so I definitely felt it when I woke up around 8AM, still feeling that I needed more sleep, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 1PM, so quite a good time to wrap this up, so that I may get to my other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, straining and blending kefir, and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my 172nd Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update tomorrow morning, and the next iteration of these posts tomorrow afternoon! 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
