I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

As y'all know, open-source, decentralized/distributed, community-driven frameworks are a deep passion of mine, that get the vast majority of my focus, because among other things, they offer people worldwide greater levels of freedom, and empowerment, and sovereignty. While community-driven frameworks are most definitely the way forward, because they are a reflection of the communtity of people (and their perspectives, opinions, and bias) that build and run them, they also have their fair share of challenges, internal conflicts, and chaos. This is true of every community-driven project, blockchain, platform, and general framework, of which I've been a part, and although it does bother me a bit to see it appear so often, I've just come to accept and flow with it the best that I'm able.

Polish_20220714_121631044.jpg

Some community-driven frameworks fit me a lot better than others, just as I align with some people and groups far more than others. This is normal and natural, of course, and as such it means that, while I appreciate all community-driven projects, I only get myself involved with certain ones that work the best with my particular requirements, desires, needs, predilections, and proclivities.

In every community-driven framework of which I'm a part, there are certain things that bother, disturb, sadden, or frustrate me, Hive included, and yet, because I love and appreciate them, I don't focus on the noise, but rather on the goal of what we're building. I also try to help create as much harmony and good will among the people with whom I interact.

Every individual, community, and community-driven project has issues and problems. It's par for the course of being human, and as such we need to take the good with the bad, what we like and what we don't like, and decide if we're able to live and work with the challenges and issues that do exist.

When I say that I'm all-in for the long haul on Hive, it doesn't mean that I don't see or acknowledge the challenges, issues, and problems that exist here, but that even with them, I deeply love and believe in this Blockchain Ecosystem and its community, and I'll keep showing up every day to do my best to assist, help, and support in any way that I'm able, to co-create something that is beautiful and good for all of us.

Yesterday, Tuesday, I left the Flow House, once I finished up my Hive tasks, a bit on the later side, close to 3PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts. With a good batch of shots taken, I went to unload the rest of Ano's truck after the Sunday market, and with that done, I went to Tutu's to do the dry-goods order for the Wednesday town run. The last task of the day was to get my machete and go to clear more around a young Bolivian mangosteen tree next to the cow-milkkng stantion. Once I finally had that completed, I made my way back to the other side of the property, to take a shower, then head to the Landing to collect my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the fridge. While I was there, I got into a very unexpected and engaging conversation with Susanne, a young woman who's staying at GaiaYoga for about a month and half, on life, reality, the slave system, and The Great Awakening, which kept me occupied for quite a bit longer than I expected. Bryan came in toward the end of the conversation, and after we finjshed up, I finally collected my jar of superfood fire coffee, and then headed back to the Flow House to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I paused that to go help Chelsea troubleshoot (sadly unsuccessfully) an internet-connection issue in Halai Hapai, after which I returned to the Flow House to continue with Hive. I began to get very sleepy very quickly, and I ended up having to stop a little after 10:30PM to do some asset management, and then go to bed a little after 11:30PM, sadly still quite far behind on my notifications. I woke up a bit after 7AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 12:45PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before preparing for a session that's scheduled for 1:30PM. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until tomorrow's iteration of these posts! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙

2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.

Your life is really difficult and I hope that the great creator will keep you in this forest for more than six years. Although you have been living in this forest for more than six years, I sincerely believe that you need a companion at this time at your age. Thank you for sharing this wonderful nature and environment, including the visible plants and plants with all of us.
