I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1045 - More Pools Seeded to Payout Threshold, and Income Is Growing! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Saturday, June 7, 2025
I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙
Warm greetings all! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
Although I won't always talk about my adventures in diesel/liquidity pools with the frequency that I am now in these posts, given that I'm in the midst of a huge amount of exploration, experimentation, learning, and expansion in this fascinating domain, it will likely be a main focus at least for a little longer. The pools really are an exceptionally good way to leverage and grow assets over time, so I've been investing hard, and ever more deeply.
Part of the reason for me doing so is indeed because of the notable returns, that's definitely true, but the other side of that coin is the fact that providing liquidity in these paired-token pools strengthens the tokens involved, and therefore the whole Hive token economy. As such, I've been expanding into as many pools as my resources permit, regardless of whether they are high-performing, high-payout pools or not, though the high-performing pools do get more focus.
Since the token-swap feature on BeeSwap and Tribaldex is directly connected to the various paired tokens in the pools, it's an excellent way to balance out the token assets in our wallets so that they can more effectively, efficiently, and quickly be added to their respective pools. I've begun to do this quite a lot lately, and to very good effect.
Up until very recently, if I had a good amount of one token that is part of a liquidity-pool pair sitting in my wallet, and daily liquidity rewards for the other, I'd simply just keep adding small bits of liquidity every day, which is a very easy, and cost-effective means of growing my stake in such pools, though this method certainly takes time, so lots of patience is required. With this way of adding liquidity, I had several pools that were not yet providing any benefit, because I had not reached the payout threshold for daily liquidity rewards and/or pool fees. While I do still do this, I wanted to speed up the process of getting several pools past their respective payout thresholds, so I've been making extensive use of the swap feature to balance the token pairs so that I'm able to add much larger amounts of liquidity to them far more quickly.
Using this swap-and-balance methodology, I've been able to seed a whole host of pools past their payout thresholds for daily liquidity rewards and/or fees, which is very exciting, because it means that I'm now receiving income from many more pools than only a short time ago. I intend to keep doing this until solid income is being generated across as many pools as possible. I've never actually counted how many pools in which I have liquidity (I did end up just count them all, and it's 93 pools), but it's a lot, most of which are now generating some sort of income, and that number is increasing rapidly. My goodness is pool investing fun!
Yesterday, Saturday, I left the Flow House, after wrapping up my Hive tasks, just after 1PM, giving my attention first to some photography for my posts, and then a little sunbathing oh the trampoline in the Peanut Lawn. When I was well sunned, I got my machete and collected a wheelbarrow full of assorted edible foliage for cow-milking food, and then after a short asset-management break up at the Flow House, and with my machete in hand once again, I went to clear around several young trees (cinnamon, allspice, and pili-pili nut) that I had planted more than a year ago in the cow pasture (in cages to protect them from the cow). That was a gnarly job to say the least, and by the time I had finished I had drawn blood on multiple places on my body (nothing serious, but ouch nonetheless). When I finally had that done just before sunset, I made my way back to the other side of the property to take a shower, to collect my leftover food and superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and then to head back to the Flow House to write and publish My Entry for Reflection Hunters Contest: Round 222 - Tropical Milkweed Reflections, to get into my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. Even though I wasn't able to get through them all the night before, I was able to finish them all last night, very thankfully, by 11PM on the dot, after which I did some focused asset management, and then I went to bed just after 12:30AM. I woke up a little after 6AM, having slept very well, doing more asset management, beginning on this post, getting out of bed about 7AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, and then finally returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just after 1:15PM, so a marvelous time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a little later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for my posts, straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao), and then community/land work. I deeply appreciate y'all so very much! Until my Sunday Weekly Hive Goals and Progress Update tomorrow morning, and the next iteration of these posts tomorrow afternoon! Always forward, onward, upward, and whaleward, ho, together we go! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
2025 Life Goals
1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.
2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.
3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.
4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
All photos were taken with my Motorola G Play 2024 Android Phone.
Thank you all so much who have helped me get to where I am today, and allowing me to share more of the beauty and magic from my life and my world with you, and for your continuous appreciation and support! I am truly deeply grateful! 😁🙏💚✨🤙
