I Am #AliveAndThriving Today! || #IAmAliveChallenge || Daily Off-Grid Jungle Journal Entry: Day #1019 - More Pool Fun, and a Nice Chunk of ALIVE to Stake Today! - GaiaYoga Gardens, Lower Puna, Far East Big Island, Hawai'i - Monday, May 12, 2025

I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 6 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

Soon after I finished up with the session that I gave this morning, the first round (1 of 4) of the SPS that I had on Splinterlands unstaked, which gave me 100+ SPS to invest in two diesel/liquidity pools. I swapped a portion of the SPS for PKM and DEC, which allowed me to strongly increased my stake in the SPS:PKM pool, and to establish a good initial position in the DEC:SPS pool. I love when I am able to make bigger moves like this, because I can usually see the benefits quite quickly.

As I discused a few posts back, I chose to unstake my 400+ SPS that was staked in Splinterlands, because the APR in the SPS:PKM pool is so much better, 30% compared to 10-11%. With the liquidity that I added to that pool today, my income in SPS, DEC, and PKM have all notably increased. For my present shares in the pool, I'll now receive 0.03984786 SPS, 0.107 DEC, 0.258 PKM each day in liquidity rewards, which will keep increasing as I comtinue to add more liquidity daily.

This increased income in SPS and DEC will now open the door for me to begin to add liquidity over time to the SWAP.HIVE:SPS and SWAP.HIVE:DEC pools, and to increase my newly established position in the DEC:SPS pool. All three of these pools offer some of the top pool fees available, so I intend to add as much liquidity to them as I'm able, as it will accelerate the self-growth of the tokens in them, which translates into more passive income in useful assets.

Every single day I'm increasing the leverage that I have to grow my assets more strongly and more quickly, and boy oh boy is it a fun and exciting adventure! I'm doing the same thing, of course, in my asset management for the Alive Tribe, which is helping to grow our resource base quite nicely (though it's still never as quickly as I'd like). The present fiat-dollar value of all Alive Tribe assets is about $8,677.6, though it of course oscillates over time, but regardless of the transient numbers, it's growing.

It's ALIVE-Staking Tuesday in the We Are Alive Tribe, and I'm finally getting myself into the swing of things by beginning to participate in the weekly staking. Up until now I've mostly just powered up my ALIVE as soon as I receive it, but a couple days ago I had the thought to start saving my liquid ALIVE for the Tuesday powerup. With that in mind, after I publish this post, I'll be staking over 1,073 ALIVE, which is quite a respectable powerup indeed! I intend to take part every Tuesday from here on out! Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after wrapping up my Hive tasks, around 2:30PM, giving my attention first to photography for these posts, and to straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing. I shared an engaging conversation with Alex about Hive, in between the two tasks, and I'll also be helping him set up a Hive account later in the week, so I'll basically be his Hive mentor, which is kind of cool. Once I finished with kefir, it was already pretty late, and with the community logistics at 6:30PM, I returned to the Flow House to get an early start on my evening Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. The meeting thankfully ended sooner than usual, so I only lost an hour, though I still wasn't able to get fully caught up on my notifications before I had to make myself stop around 11:30PM, to do some asset management, and to go to bed about 12AM. I woke up just after 7AM, having slept fairly well, doing more asset management, going to make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, then returning to the Flow House to prepare for my session at 9AM. As soon as we finished up with the session, I sent my SPS to Hive Engine, swapped the some for DEC and PKM, put it all in the pools, and finally started writing this post. It's now just after 1:45PM, so quite an excellent time to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to focus first on photography for these posts, then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
