Photographs of lush mountains.
Hello.
How are you all my dear friends? I hope you are all well. In today's post I have shared with you Photographs of lush mountains. These photographs were captured on the way to Kedarkantha. The road to Kedarkantha passes through the middle of a mountainous area. The beauty of the mountains is shared with you through photographs in this post.
Kedarkantha Trek is one of the most prominent and beautiful trekking destinations of Uttarakhand, which is located in Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand and is located in Govind Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park. This is a very beautiful trekking place where trekkers from far and wide reach Uttarakhand every year for trekking.
The height of Kedarkantha track is 3,800 meters i.e. 12,500 feet and the entire track is about 12 km. It takes 6 to 7 days to travel on this track. While going on the track, you have to pass through the beautiful snow-capped mountains as well as the Govind Wildlife Sanctuary, which further enhances the beauty of this track.
Kedarkantha being a beautiful winter trek, tourists can experience the wonderfully pleasant weather during the summer season by staying in peace away from the hustle and bustle of the cities.
According to legend, Kedarnath Dham was to be established at this place earlier. Once upon a time, when Lord Shiva was sitting in his meditation, a herd of cows reached there and started making a sound. Hearing the sound of cows, Lord Shiva's attention started getting distracted.
Fearing such distraction, Lord Shiva got up from Kedarkantha peak and settled in Kedarnath, due to which the temple was not built here but in Kedarnath. By that time the temple had been built till the neck of Lord Shiva, hence the name of this place was named Kedarkantha Parvat.
The Kedarkantha trek starts from Sankri. Sankri is a quiet and beautiful village apart from the urban life where you can take a night's rest before starting your journey. From here you can trek 12 km to reach Kedarkantha.
