Give My 6 Year A Camera And This Is What You Get
Yes I know, every parent believes there 6 year old child is the most talented. Mine, is for sure one of the wildest. Her energy is endless and her imagination runs wild. She is such a joy to observe.
She's even triggered a few people, because she is so unapologetically herself. She really is a force. As well as being quite cheeky. But she is the third child afterall. And you have got to leave your mark.
A few days ago when I was at the river, she asked if she could take some pictures. After being advised to stay out of the water, whilst taking photos, she walked off and begin. Tilting the camera this way and that.
She was quite taken by the bridge, which you can tell, by the amount of photos she took of it. I just love the different angles she captured.
I really think she has a very interesting way of seeing things. I definitely felt like I was seeing the riverside in a different light.
As a parent, it's hard not to jump on the things they take an interest in. Because you want to support them. Support their interests.
For now, I will let her use my phone, I'll wait and see if she really does have a love for taking photos. I certainly praised her, for what she took on this day.
I really her to tell me and not let it become something that I push on her, encourage yes, but not insist. Anyway 6 is a young age, play is the most important thing for her now.
Playing and exploring, which is exactly what she was doing when she took these photos.
I know, I know, I'm biased, but I really do think she took some awesome shots. Today however, she told me she wants to be a painter and a singer, so let's see.
Oh but my heart is bursting with love and joy, when I see her get so focused on doing something. Then get to see the end result and watch her react to my reaction.
Her joy, her little face so light up, so proud. I feel so blessed to have my girls. To get to share my life with them. Such amazing beings, that they are.
Making me feel like the luckiest person in the world.( well most of the time).
I'm only a couple years older than her...well, maybe a little more than that, and I would be happy with these shots if I took them!
Nice work indeed.
I know right.
You Got the 8 year old spirit, that's what matters xxxx
Lol...Yeah, and I act like an eight year old at times. 😜
Wow, I am impressed. The shots are beautiful and I can imagine how happy she was capturing this shot.
At age, kids love to explore and do different kinds of things. As they grow, they begin to filter their interest and passion.
It's best to let her grow and support her instead of imposing it on her as you have said, sending my regards.
Thank you George, ah she was loving it xx
Did your girl take those pictures? ¡Wow, amazing! They are really beautiful.
She did indeed, thank you xxx
I love those angles. She is, indeed, very unique. <3
Thank you lovely xxxx
She did! Some of them remind me very vividly of a lesson we were taught at my first year at the college of photography and we were 18 years old :)
I am sure she will be taking great pictures as she grows older but of course photography can be only a tiny part of her talents and skills. Anyway people that are doing one job their whole life, tend to extinct and I wouldn't expect (or wish) from a wild child anything different than a rich (not talking about money) and diverse life!
Totally, I do consider myself to have a very rich life, just not money wise. And that's fine with me xxxx
Definitely a little photographer! 💗
She took really nice photos, from all kind of angles. I don't know much about photography, but I'd say she's all in. 📸
Thank you @missdeli, I do feel quite proud of her xxx
I can see why! 💕
I truly love this one!
Give a kid a camera and don't tell them the rules, and they'll come up with something totallymagic every time. You truly are blessed. And I bet that river is cool on the hot days you've been having as well.
The river is bliss I was just swimming in it this evening, its always cold. Which is perfect xxxx
I just love the bridge ones! I think my favourite is the one viewing it with the sky above and the frame of leaves in the corners.
