We discovered the World's Narrowest Street in the town of Vrbnik in Croatia
Hello to all who have chosen to stop by
Today I am in a very good mood and I thought I would share with you some of my mood, how else could I do it, by sharing with you an interesting place I discovered earlier this month when I visited Croatia.
When you want to visit such an impressive country you have to research very well so that you don't miss interesting places, there is a possibility that these places are very close to you and you don't realize they are there.
I visited many beautiful places on holiday in Croatia and I will share them with you, but one by one, so I hope you will enjoy the "World's Narrowest Street" here in the town of Vrbnik, Croatia.
How did I find out about this place?
Together with our friends we decided to visit one of the biggest islands of Croatia, the island of KrK.
The island is surrounded by the Adriatic Sea and the only land access is over a very large bridge or by boat.
At first glance I must admit that I was amazed by how the island presents itself, we stopped many times to take pictures, many places that actually attract you.
The access to the roads inside the island is spectacular and we tried to take advantage of every spot to photograph it and enjoy being there.
The first stop was near the sea, I don't remember what it was called, I was attracted by the fact that there were many people there and they were covered with mud from the lake, we stayed here for a few minutes and then we continued our way to another destination.
As you can tell from the title, the next stop is the town of Vrbnik, we only had some information about it, we tried to find out more on the spot.
A vibrant, quaint little town with amazing architecture (I was impressed by those cobbled streets), the most difficult part was parking, but I found a place where I paid 8 euros for four hours.
The first experience I had here was at a restaurant in the area, I don't want to dwell on it too much but I can say that the food was very good, the portions were large and the prices acceptable.
There you go, with a full belly I slowly took off towards the narrowest street in the world, don't argue with me, I know there is more data on the narrowest streets in the world, some with guinessbook certification.
The town of Vrbnik is relatively small with a population of up to 1000 inhabitants, it is famous for wine growing and fishing, you can't pass through here and not taste or buy a bottle of Zlahtina wine.
On the narrow paved streets we tried to find our way to our destination, being very winding we got lost, at one point we even entered the garden of a house (good thing the owner didn't say anything, even if we didn't get where we should we had a wonderful view of that garden, hehe).
With difficulty the gps map took us to our destination, we reached the narrowest road in the world, KLANCIC.
The street is very interesting, with a width of 43 centimeters, made of stone pieces of different sizes, it is very interesting that above the street are built houses.
After the photo shoot was over, hehe, we got a bit more lost on the city streets after which we went back to a local wine shop, even here the experience was a nice one.
Dear visitors, here ends today's virtual tour in which I had the pleasure to introduce you to the narrowest street in the world.

Loved the vibes and the food of the town! I'm not claustrophobic but this sort of triggered that feeling a little bit, how fascinating! Love how you both used yourselves as measures of scale here!
Glad you enjoyed today's post and thank you so much for stopping by.
We're not claustrophobic either but this street is really narrow, hehe.

Thanks so much for stopping by and I'm glad you enjoyed the post.
Even when you got lost, the things you’ve seen along the way are still beautiful. I think I wouldn’t know it’s already private property I’m stepping because that garden looks like it’s part of the scenery. 😅
I don’t think I would fit in that narrow road. Need to lost a few pounds before going there I guess. 😅
Thank you very much for visiting, due to the very poor internet in the area, the map on the gps did not update and so we ended up walking into a family garden, no one was bothered by this.
The city is amazing with those narrow streets paved with cubic stone.
My first feeling when I saw the street was that I couldn't fit there, honestly if I were to walk on it in a normal position I wouldn't fit but only on one side, I would have to lose several kilos to be able to walk on the street, hehe.
Thank you very much @achoo and @qurator team.
Wow, this place is wonderful. Nature is so beautiful 😊 Thank you for sharing a bit of that experience with us
