Let's explore the Ethnographic Museum in the village where the sun rises twice
RIMETEA, ALBA county, ROMANIA
Hello travelers
Have you ever heard of Rimetea in Alba County, Romania?
The village is known as probably the most beautiful village in Romania where the sun rises twice (this is not a figure of speech, but due to the village's position between the mountains the illusion of the sun rising twice is possible).
The village has been on my list for a long time but for various reasons I never got to get here, honestly there is a lot of talk about it on the internet and that has aroused my curiosity.
I finally arrived here after a few hours of driving the car, honestly when I arrived I couldn't believe it, the first contact with the village was crowded, there were cars parked everywhere with barely room to pass by them, the public parking lots were full as well as the village streets, after about ten minutes I found a parking space on a street.
The village is charming, but today we don't see the village but our first objective here is the Ethnographic Museum, being a very old village it has an amazing history and culture.
Let the exploration begin.
The Ethnographic Museum is located in the town hall building, so we entered here and then we went through an iron door and went up to the first floor.
The entrance fee is 15lei/3euro/person, visiting hours are from Tuesday-Sunday between 9am-5pm, Monday is closed.
The lady at the entrance, where we paid the tickets, was very nice and told us some information about what we will discover in the museum, a very important aspect when visiting a museum.
The museum is not very big, it has only 5 rooms, but these rooms are full of history and the museum building was built of stone around 1800.
Step carefully in each room to discover the history of the place, many exhibits, from simple local life, traditions and culture and a little further on we discover the art of pottery, the people of that time apparently were also engaged in mining and other daily activities.
My dears I have reached the final point of today's blog, I could not leave here without buying a souvenir, if somehow you are in Alba county do not forget to plan a visit to this village, it is worth it.
THE END!
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.

Romania has one of the most beautiful cultures! These pictures are so well taken. By chance, do you have any idea how far back these artifacts are?
The feeling of finally arriving at the place and keeping this village on the travel list was the best. The beauty of the mountains added to the charm of the village. It was great to visit the oldest heritage museum here and see the heritage arts here. I was amazed to see many types of heritage, many arts, dead arts and many types of heritage. Have a nice day on your beautiful journey. Will we see the beauty of the village in the next blog?
A very great visit, the place is very nice, the architecture is very cool, the appearance of the museum building is really pleasing to the eye, I really like it my friend ❤️🙏
Such a beautiful place. You capture the views so well. Thanks for like touring us around 😀
You've finally visited the village that's part of your travel plans. What a lovely scenery of the landscape; it feels so serene. It's nice to know more information about the place by visiting the museum. They have interesting artifacts in the museum that show how the villagers lived in the old times.
That's right, I've been wanting to visit this village for a while and yes it is fantastic to see with your own eyes how people lived a long time ago.
Thanks for stopping by.
