Europa Wall, street art taken to another level in the center of Craiova
Hello travelers
Have you heard of the Europa Wall before?
It's not about the Berlin Wall or John Lennon Wall(Prague), it's not about that, it's about another wall, but this time in Romania.
I was visiting Craiova and at one point while searching on the internet for activities in the city center I found a very interesting park, why I say that, because that park has a wall that through street art two theology students managed to bring to life a few member states of the European Union.
In the Mihai Bravu Garden, culture, history and traditions have come alive on the only wall here, a total of 28 unique paintings.
Do you know if somewhere in the world there is such a wall of Europe?
Being in a park, I've noticed that this wall catches the eye of passers-by, whether you're sitting on a bench to relax or just walking in the park, this wall attracts your attention with these images.
From the park back there you can see the Agronomy Faculty.
Also here, walking in the park, we discovered a wooden church, unfortunately we didn't find any information about it, but analyzing the situation on the spot it seems that the church was under renovation, this is a good thing, because after a short walk in the park we can pass the church.
From what I have read the paintings were made in 2014, unfortunately I couldn't find more information about them, I would have been even happier if I had found some information panels about each painting.
The painting below represents Romania, I realized this after the face of Mihai Viteazul and also after the face of Constantin Brânusi a great Romanian sculptor.
My dear visitors I hope you will enjoy this little piece of history and art in the center of Craiova and at the end I leave you a photo of the biggest station here in the city, the Ion Oblemenco Stadium.
THE END!
