At the Top of the Hill [PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography #31]

Hello everyone!

It's nearly weekend again and I hope you had a great week! May the weekend be even better!

Today I'm sharing a shot for the PhotoFeed Contest - Cityscape Photography Round 31.

This picture was taken at the top of a hill just outside of the city of Vila Nova de Cerveira, right next to the river which separates Portugal and Spain on the Northern border. Everything you see to the right of the river is Spanish territory, on the left, that's Lusitanian lands.

From the top of this small mountain you get the full view of the city. Naturally, there will always be tourists watching the views and taking some photos. 😎

This is a small but cute town and very peaceful too. If, like me, you don't like crowded and noisy places, this place should suit you well! 😄

It's funny to think you need a passport and visa whenever you cross from one side of the river to the next. Great shot and I think living here would be great. So peaceful.

Ahahah, actually we don't. That's not a thing inside the EU. There isn't even a border control, you cross it without anyone stopping you or asking anything. 😎
