📷 Surreal Train Station [EN/DE]

When it comes to editing photos, I sometimes have crazy ideas. At Prague's main station, I photographed a train whose bright orange front provided a nice contrast to the dark surroundings on this rainy day. In post-processing, for some reason I had the idea of flipping the right half of the photo onto the left side. The result was a train that could never exist in reality. In the end, I stacked the resulting image in three different sizes, creating an interesting pattern and a lovely contrast of black, white and orange.

Wenn es um die Bearbeitung von Fotos geht, habe ich manchmal verrückte Ideen. Am Hauptbahnhof von Prag fotografierte ich einen Zug der mit seiner leuchtend orangen Front einen schönen Kontrast zur dunklen Umgebung an diesem regnerischen Tag bot. In der Nachbearbeitung kam mir dann aus irgendeinem Grund die Idee, die rechte Hälfte des Fotos auf die linke Seite zu spiegeln. So entstand ein Zug, den es in der Realität nie geben könnte. Am Ende legte ich das entstandene Bild noch in drei verschiedenen Größen übereinander, wodurch sich ein interessantes Muster und ein toller Kontrast aus Schwarz, Weiß und Orange ergab.
