Through discussions with my readers and followers on the subject of street photography, I discovered that many believe this type of photography only works in large cities and therefore don't even bother to go on photo tours in their small hometowns. In reality, small towns also offer excellent opportunities to take good street photos. Leibnitz has only 13,000 inhabitants, and on a winter Sunday afternoon, you hardly see anyone on the streets. But it is precisely this quiet atmosphere that invites patience and the discovery of new perspectives. And every now and then, you also get the opportunity to incorporate the human element into your pictures.

Durch den Austausch mit meinen Lesern und Followern zum Thema Straßenfotografie stellte ich fest, dass viele glauben, diese Art der Fotografie funktioniert nur in großen Metropolen und deshalb erst gar nicht damit starten, in ihren kleinen Heimatstädten auf Foto-Tour zu gehen. In Wahrheit bieten auch kleine Städtchen hervorragende Möglichkeiten, gute Straßenfotos zu schießen. Leibnitz hat nur 13.000 Einwohner und an einem winterlichen Sonntagnachmittag sieht man kaum Menschen auf den Straßen. Doch gerade diese ruhige Atmospähre lädt zur Geduld und zum Entdecken von neuen Perspektiven ein. Und hin und wieder bekommt man auch mal die Möglichkeit, die menschliche Komponente in die Bilder einfließen zu lassen.
