Let's be honest with ourselves. Packing the camera backpack and going on a photo tour in the evening when it's raining takes a lot of effort, doesn't it? Of course, it's the same for me. Nevertheless, lately I've been trying more and more often to go out on the street even when it's raining. Umbrella in one hand, my camera in the other - that's how I walk around and try to capture different situations and moods. In retrospect, looking at my photos, I am always glad I did it. This was also the case with this night in Batumi. "The worse the weather, the better the pictures." Most photographers agree on that.

Seien wir uns doch mal ehrlich. Abends bei Regen den Kamerarucksack zu packen und auf Fototour zu gehen, kostet einiges an Überwindung, oder? Natürlich geht es auch mir nicht anders. Trotzdem versuche ich in letzter Zeit immer häufiger auch während des Regens auf die Straße zu gehen. Regenschirm in der einen Hand, meine Kamera in der anderen - so ziehe ich los und versuche verschiedene Situationen und Stimmungen einzufangen. Im Nachhinein, beim Betrachten meiner Fotos, bin ich immer froh, es getan zu haben. So war es auch, was diese Nacht in Batumi betrifft, der Fall. "Je schlechter das Wetter, desto besser die Bilder." So lautet nicht umsonst eine alte Fotografen-Weisheit.
