📷 Rainy Afternoon at Prague Main Station [EN/DE]

On my last day in Prague, I still had some time to kill at the main train station before I left. So I dropped off my suitcase, unpacked my camera and used this rainy afternoon for a last little photo tour. The two-level station opened up some interesting perspectives and I was able to fully focus on street photography. At the end, I also went to some platforms to look for subjects. Unfortunately, it is very difficult to be inconspicuous with a large camera at train stations, so the security staff soon had me in their sights. I wasn't approached, but it was still unpleasant. In the meantime, I'm already thinking about getting a smaller, inconspicuous camera for street photography.

An meinem letzten Tag in Prag hatte ich vor der Abreise noch einige Zeit am Hauptbahnhof totzuschlagen. Also gab ich meinen Koffer ab, packte meine Kamera aus, und nutzte diesen regnerischen Nachmittag für eine letzte kleine Foto-Tour. Der auf zwei Ebenen angelegte Bahnhof eröffnete mir interessante Perspektiven und so konnte ich mich voll und ganz auf die Straßenfotografie konzentrieren. Zum Schluss begab ich mich auch noch auf einige Bahnsteige, um dort nach Motiven zu suchen. Leider ist es an Bahnhöfen sehr schwierig, sich mit einer großen Kamera unauffällig zu verhalten und so hatte mich bald das Sicherheitspersonal im Blick. Ich wurde zwar nicht angesprochen, unangenehm war es aber trotzdem. Inzwischen überlege ich bereits, mir eine kleinere, unauffällige Kamera für die Straßenfotografie zuzulegen.
