📷 Lensball Photography in Shanghai [EN/DE]

Of course, I couldn't do without a glass ball on my trip to Shanghai and it wasn't long before I found the first photo spots where I used it. You can see one of them in the photo above. I was standing on a pedestrian bridge opposite the impressive Jing'an Temple. As you can see, there was heavy traffic, but the air in Shanghai is always clean. This is simply because the percentage of electric vehicles is almost 100%. I've never experienced anything like it in any other city. It's impressive how advanced China has become.

Natürlich durfte auch bei meiner Reise nach Shanghai eine Glaskugel im Gepäck nicht fehlen und es dauerte nicht lang, bis ich erste Fotospots fand, an denen ich sie zum Einsatz brachte. Einen solchen seht ihr auf dem obigen Foto. Dort stand ich auf einer Fußgängerbrücke gegenüber des beeindruckenden Jing'an-Tempels. Wie ihr seht, herrschte starker Verkehr, doch die Luft in Shanghai ist trotzdem immer sauber und rein. Das liegt ganz einfach daran, dass die Quote an elektrischen Fahrzeugen fast 100% beträgt. So etwas hatte ich bisher in keiner anderen Stadt erlebt. Es ist beeindruckend, wie fortschrittlich China inzwischen geworden ist.

The next two photos were taken in the grounds of the earlier mentioned Jing'an Temple. As I have already visited countless Buddhist temples in my life, I only chose one for my short time in Shanghai and I didn't regret my choice. The calm, peaceful atmosphere was just as impressive as the architecture of the temple. What makes it particularly unique and somehow very fitting for Shanghai is that it is surrounded by skyscrapers, which you can see from the courtyard surrounding the temple.

Die nächsten beiden Fotos entstanden im Gelände des zuvor erwähnten Jing'an-Tempels. Da ich schon unzählige buddhistische Tempel in meinem Leben besucht habe, suchte ich mir für die kurze Zeit in Shanghai nur einen aus und ich bereute meine Wahl nicht. Die ruhige, friedliche Atmosphäre war genauso beeindruckend, wie die Architektur des Tempels. Besonders einzigartig und irgendwie sehr passend für Shanghai ist, dass er von Wolkenkratzern umgeben ist, die man vom Innenhof rund um den Tempel sehen kann.

The Shanghai Exhibition Center is just a short walk from this temple. You can see this building in the photo above. Its architecture reminded me a lot of Soviet buildings, such as those you can find in Russia. The water surface in front of the building offered a beautiful reflection and here as well, huge skyscrapers are constantly in view all around.

Nur einen kurzen Fußweg von diesem Tempel entfernt befindet sich das Shanghai Exhibition Center. Dieses Gebäude seht ihr auf dem obigen Foto. Seine Architektur erinnerte mich sehr an sovjetische Gebäude, wie man sie zum Beispiel in Russland finden kann. Die Wasserfläche for dem Gebäude bot eine schöne Spiegelung und auch hier hat man riesige Wolkenkratzer rundherum ständig im Blickfeld.
