The Clock Tower of Graz was built in the 13th century and has existed in its current appearance since the 16th century. It is the landmark and symbol of Austria's second largest city and has been depicted in so many different ways that it is difficult for a photographer to find a new, unique perspective. Nevertheless, I attempted to do so with my 9 mm ultra-wide-angle lens, which causes extreme distortion. In post-processing, I decided on a high-contrast black-and-white look. The photos were taken at blue hour. In the first picture, you can also see the moon in the background. By the way, what is special about the clock tower is that the small hand shows the minutes and the large hand shows the hours.

Der Grazer Uhrturm wurde im 13. Jahrhundert erbaut und existiert in seinem heutigen Erscheinungsbild ab dem 16. Jahrhundert. Er ist das Wahrzeichen und Symbol von Österreichs zweitgrößter Stadt und wurde schon auf so verschiede Art und Weise abgebildet, dass es als Fotograf schwerfällt, eine neue, einzigartige Perspektive zu finden. Ich versuchte es trotzdem mit meinem 9 mm Ultra-Weitwinkel, der für extreme Verzerrungen sorgt. In der Nachbearbeitung entschied ich mich dann für einen Schwarzweiß-Look mit hohem Kontrast. Die Aufnahmen entstanden zur Blauen Stunde. Auf dem ersten Bild sieht man auch den Mond im Hintergrund. Übrigens, das Besondere am Uhrturm ist, dass der kleine Zeiger die Minuten und der große Zeiger die Stunden anzeigt.
