📷 High Contrast Black and White Streets Shots from Prague [EN/DE]
There is something timeless about Prague's old town - especially in the light of the setting sun. As golden rays glide through narrow streets and over old cobblestones, the city transforms into a stage for quiet, cinematic scenes. I was out and about with my camera when exactly this light filled the streets. The result was a series of black and white photos in which the interplay of shadow and light sets the tone. A man, immersed in his smartphone, another thoughtfully takes off his glasses while the cobblestones gleam behind him. A woman with an elegant silhouette disappears into an archway - with the majestic Prague Castle towering behind her. And finally: the quiet life in a café directly on the Vltava - abstract and yet familiar. These pictures are small everyday moments - unspectacular and yet full of atmosphere. This evening, Prague showed me once again how much beauty there is in the moment - you just have to look.
Die Altstadt von Prag hat etwas Zeitloses – besonders im Licht der untergehenden Sonne. Während goldene Strahlen durch enge Gassen und über altes Kopfsteinpflaster gleiten, verwandelt sich die Stadt in eine Bühne für stille, filmreife Szenen. Ich war mit meiner Kamera unterwegs, als genau dieses Licht die Straßen erfüllte. Es entstand eine Serie von Schwarz-Weiß-Fotos, in denen das Spiel von Schatten und Licht den Ton angibt. Ein Mann, versunken in sein Smartphone, ein anderer nimmt nachdenklich die Brille ab, während hinter ihm die Pflastersteine glänzen. In einem Torbogen verschwindet eine Frau mit eleganter Silhouette – dahinter thront majestätisch die Prager Burg. Und schließlich: das stille Leben in einem Café direkt an der Moldau – abstrakt und doch vertraut. Diese Bilder sind kleine Alltagsmomente – unspektakulär und doch voller Atmosphäre. Prag hat mir an diesem Abend wieder gezeigt, wie viel Schönheit im Augenblick liegt – man muss nur hinsehen.

there is something with black and white :D you have these in color, would they work as good as b&w? :D
