📷 Fascinating Bird’s Eye Views from Ponte Dom Luís I [EN/DE]

Ponte Dom Luís I is one of the most architecturally interesting buildings in Porto and, of course, one of the city's most recognisable landmarks. Due to its location right in the city centre, the bridge also offers fascinating insights into daily life in Portugal's second largest city. At times, I was able to photograph almost straight down, which gave me extraordinary perspectives. Fortunately, I had a long focal length with me to compensate for the enormous height of the structure and to be able to zoom in close enough to my subjects.

Die Brücke Ponte Dom Luís I ist eines der architektonisch interessantesten Bauwerke von Porto und natürlich eines der bekanntesten Wahrzeichen der Stadt. Durch die Lage direkt im Stadtzentrum bietet einem die Brücke aber auch faszinierende Einblicke in das tägliche Leben der zweitgrößten Stadt Portugals. Teilweise konnte ich fast frontal nach unten fotografieren, was mir außergewöhnliche Blickwinkel eröffnete. Zum Glück hatte ich eine lange Brennweite dabei, um die enorme Höhe des Bauwerks zu kompensieren und nah genug an meine Motive heranzoomen zu können.
