📷 Cloudy Morning Walk in Edinburgh [EN/DE]

Another morning stroll through Edinburgh’s Old Town, and once again I had no shortage of interesting subjects and scenes worth photographing. New College, with its famous Assembly Hall, was unfortunately closed, so I could only capture the exterior with my camera. I continued along the Royal Mile to the castle, from where I was able to capture the cloudy sky above the city. Nearby, a street musician dressed in traditional Scottish clothing was performing. A narrow alleyway revealed a view down to the imposing Scott Monument. The walk ended at the Toolboth Tavern with its unique clock. Later, in the afternoon, I headed to the famous Forth Bridge, from which I’ll be sharing some impressions with you in my next post.

Ein neuer morgendlicher Spaziergang in der Altstadt von Edinburgh und wieder mangelte es mir nicht an interessanten Motiven und Szenen, die es wert waren, zu fotografieren. Das New College mit seiner berühmten Assembley Hall war leider geschlossen, hier konnte ich nur die Außenansicht mit meiner Kamera festhalten. Weiter ging es über die Royal Mile bis zur Burg von der ich den wolkenverhangenen Himmel über der Stadt einfangen konnte. Ganz in der Nähe performte ein klassisch schottisch gekleideter Straßenmusiker. Eine enge Gasse offenbarte den Blick hinab zum imposanten Scott Monument. Der Spaziergang endete an der Toolboth Tavern mit ihrer einzigartigen Uhr. Später, am Nachmittag ging es dann zur berühmten Forth Bridge, von der ich euch im nächsten Beitrag einige Eindrücke präsentieren werde.
