The Livraria Lello in Porto is one of the oldest and most beautiful bookshops in the world. It was opened in 1906 and impresses with its unique neo-Gothic architecture, ornately carved woodwork and a majestic spiral staircase. The bookshop not only has literary significance, but is also a popular place for tourists who are enchanted by its magical atmosphere. It became particularly famous because it served as a source of inspiration for the Harry Potter books. The Livraria Lello is now a cultural landmark in Porto and a must-see for book lovers. Due to the masses of visitors that are constantly inside the cramped interior, it is more than difficult to take photos inside the library. I tried anyway and would like to show you my results today.

Sie wurde 1906 eröffnet und beeindruckt durch ihre einzigartige neogotische Architektur, kunstvoll geschnitzte Holzarbeiten und eine majestätische Wendeltreppe. Die Buchhandlung hat nicht nur literarische Bedeutung, sondern ist auch ein beliebter Ort für Touristen, die sich von ihrer magischen Atmosphäre verzaubern lassen. Aufgrund der Besucher-Massen die sich ständig innerhalb der engen Innenräume befinden, ist es mehr als schwierig, innerhalb der Bibliothek fotografisch aktiv zu werden. Ich habe es trotzdem versucht und möchte euch heute meine Ergebnisse zeigen.
