📷 A Rainy Day in Paris [EN/DE]

Hey guys! Last week I spent a few days in Paris and the surrounding area. Actually it was not a photo trip, but the rainy weather was just too tempting not take photos. In this post, I would like to show you my favourite shots from my rainy day of sightseeing in Paris.

Hallo Leute! Letzte Woche verbrachte ich ein paar Tage in Paris und Umgebung. Eigentlich war es kein Foto-Trip, doch das regnerische Wetter war einfach zu verlockend, um nicht fotografisch aktiv zu werden. Meine Lieblingsaufnahmen von meinem verregneten Sightseeing-Tag in Paris möchte ich euch in diesem Beitrag zeigen.

A walk along the Champs Élysées is, of course, a must for any trip to Paris. Here you will find many magnificent buildings like this one.

Ein Spaziergang über die Champs Élysées gehört natürlich zum Pflichtprogramm für jeden Paris-Trip. Hier findet man viele prunkvolle Gebäude wie dieses.

The Seine was just a walk away down a side street. By the way, in the upper part of the picture you can see my umbrella, which I used as a picture element.

Die Seine war nur einen Spaziergang über eine Seitenstraßen entfernt. Im oberen Teil des Bildes seht ihr übrigens meinen Regenschirm, den ich als Bildelement einsetzte.

Pont Alexandre III - probably the most beautiful bridge in the city. I crashed a wedding shoot here. The photographer took it with humor.

Pont Alexandre III - die wohl schönste Brücke der Stadt. Hier crashte ich ein Hochzeit-Shooting. Der Fotograf nahm es mit Humor.

In the courtyard of the Louvre Museum, I took advantage of a puddle to photograph the reflection of a scooter driver.

Im Innenhof des Louvre Museums nutzte ich eine Pfütze, um die Spieglung eines Scooter-Fahrers zu fotografieren.

The large glass pyramid of the Louvre is well visited even when it rains. One of the two smaller pyramids helped me framing the building.

Die große Glaspyramide des Louvre ist sogar bei Regen gut besucht. Eine der beiden kleineren Pyramiden half mir dabei, das Gebäude einzurahmen.

It's slowly becoming autumn in Paris. I photographed this withered leaf in front of the city hall (Hotel de Ville), which you can see in the background.

Es wird langsam Herbst in Paris. Dieses vertrocknete Blatt fotografierte ich vor dem Rathaus (Hotel de Ville), das ihr im Hintergrund seht.

Raindrops on a park bench - one of my favourite subjects for detail shots in this weather. In the background you can see the towers of Notre Dame Cathedral.

Regentropfen auf einer Parkbank - eines meiner Lieblingsmotive für Detailaufnahmen bei diesem Wetter. Im Hintergrund kann man die Türme der Notre Dame Kathedrale erkennen.

Some Paris metro stations are really worth seeing and resemble underground palaces.

Einige Pariser Metrostationen sind wirklich sehenswert und gleichen unterirdischen Palästen.

Towards evening, the sky cleared a little. The ideal opportunity to visit the one and only Eiffel Tower.

Gegen Abend klarte der Himmel etwas auf. Die ideale Gelegenheit, um den einzigartigen Eiffelturm zu besuchen.

At the blue hour, the famous Moulin Rouge was the last stop on the sightseeing tour. By the way: Unfortunately, I didn't have a camera with me that day. All the photos were taken with my cheap €200 smartphone in automatic mode. Would you have noticed?

Zur blauen Stunde war das berühmte Moulin Rouge die letzte Station der Sightseeing Tour. Ach übrigens: Ich hatte an diesem Tag leider keine Kamera dabei. Alle Fotos stammen von meinem billigen 200€-Smartphone im Automatik-Modus. Hättet ihr es gemerkt?
