This car caught my attention. I 'm thrill of its unique style and old-fashioned charm. The color stands out the rest too. I'm sure ladies all prefer it haha. It's called Thunder Bird. It's very nice and collectable :)

What a lovely summer weekend in Melbourne town !!

On Sunday, we happened to go past Apec park in Altona to see an array of colors in the usual green grass setting. It wasn't like normal days when the dogs run around here as here is the doggo park. What was happening there? There was a CAR show on, well, attention car enthusiast!!! Lol

The event was put on by the Hobson Bay man shed truly great community :) What a spectacular car show!! Millions of dollars of cars ranging from 1960 to the present day were gathered recently in one place. This impressive show included spot cars, muscle cars and even motorbikes. It was an opportunity to feast the eyes of automobile lovers and a chance for me to learn more about the cars.

These cars hide in the garage most of the time until an event like this comes up and the proud owners of the car dust them off and bring them out for all to see :) Sometimes I see these cars being driven on the weekends, but I have never seen so many at once. The park was filled with beautiful cars of all shapes, sizes, and colors.

A couple of gold coin donations to enter the big park area where usually people walk the dogs there. Very cheap price to see such expensive cars and all the coins go into the Man Shed looking after those in need :)

I'm usually not a big fan of cars but some of these are amazing to look at, touch and some of them are considered legends in Australian car racing history a hint of the value of these cars for example, the purple Ford Facon from 1971 was the Bathurst winner 3 years in a row :) The cars in 1971 you could buy brand new for less than 5 grand but now for a truly pristine model of this car you could be asked for 6 figures to buy.... one million dollars. The purple one could be worth 150 grand to 250 grand depending on its origin. Some cars are highly valuable due to their unique characteristics, whether they are limited editions, special models, powerful cars, or popular versatile models. I'm not a car expert, but this is what I was told :)

After seeing of many of incredible models, I begin to appreciate their beauty, value and skillful engineering. I'd love to own one in the future, lol, ( if I could win lottery) They offer a blend of style and performance :)

It was a lovely day. There were a band playing music on the truck and some food truck for the public. The atmosphere was electric as crowds of car enthusiasts gathered to admire the impressive selection of vehicles on display. Some furry friend were excited running around :)

Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoy viewing these majestic cars and let me know which car you like best :)

Magic! I used to own an MGB (I'll leave you to guess which one that is lol) about 35 years ago, it needed renovating as it was 20 years old then and so rusty, the floor had holes in. It eventually had to go but ended up getting more than I'd paid for it as they were very collectible.
Most beautiful there though ( and probably most expensive) is the E type Jaguar....possibly the most beautiful car ever built.
You can really tell I'm English now lol ;-)

Always lovely to see your name pop-up and have a wonderful weekend :-)

I´m not interested in cars at all but when I was in Cuba, I fell in love with these beautiful shiny old timers :) They look so cool! Glad that you had this chance to see some in Australia too :) You took very nice shots of them.

The beetle car reminds me of my grandpa. Back in the days, he was a well-known Volkswagen mechanic in our area.

The cars are truly amazing and beautiful. Would they let you test drive or something?

Your grandpa must love these cars :) We're not allowed to test it and I don't dare to drive these expensive cars lol :) Thanks for stopping by :)
