Slow Sunday | A Short Stroll Together with the Grasses and Flowers on the Roadside.

Long walks had been a part of my routine since we lived in the countryside. I seldom take photos of the flowers and grasses around as I still find it awkward to stop for a while and take images, but today I did it since I think these flowers are worth sharing. Plus, I am trying to learn more about taking images and editing them.

Before the year ended, I bought a new mobile device as the old Samsung phone that was given to me is not doing its job anymore. It was a gift from my younger brother and I think I had that phone since 2019.

In this first photo, we walked for over 30 minutes to reach a certain spot. My wife mentioned that our place is near a TikTok celebrity named Rosmar Tan. I do not know who she is until they gave me multiple videos and other advertisements thanks to Facebook listening to our discussion offline.

The flower's quite small, and I used 3x zoom to capture it. Since it is near the ground, I tried to bend for a few seconds and redo the shot all over again. Bending isn't something that I enjoyed as it is still early in the morning and the chilly night breeze hits my spine.

This wildflower is all over the place. They are tiny and have vibrant yellow and pink petals. I recall April telling me it is called violeta and she is also wondering why it is called in such a way. There's no trace of violet in its flowers at all.

I thought this one was a dandelion! But when I did a quick reverse image search, it turned out that it wasn't. It almost has the same dandelion stuff that I know and when blown it also spreads out the pollens or whatchamacallit parts of it. Each time that we pass by the area where these grow, April will pick some and give it to Dyn-Dyn for her to play with while we are strolling.

This white flower is also rampant in the place it is called puki or puke because of how it is shaped. At first, I thought it is funny but when I looked closely yeah can't help to agree.

In a quite big mansion that we passed on, some bougainvillea is growing. They have multiple colors around but I am able to get some purple and pink ones. The orange flower is quite high and I need to tilt my neck to get some good shots so I opted not to do it anymore.

I also saw some flowers near the barbed wire fence. Most lots within the area have either barbed wire or high walls to keep people from coming in and invading the property.

Can't you believe that these wonderful buds are from grasses? When I first saw them I didn't believe them as well as I am more familiar with the usual grass growing in our area. The green ones are quite nasty if your skin had contact as they will give you more allergies. Those purple buds are beautiful.

Last, this insect! Good thing that they are not that afraid of humans. We saw one gecko around too, but when I tried to take a picture before I properly pose he already jump in the grasses which he blended perfectly.

There may still be some that I haven't taken a picture of but walking and taking some shots in the area is quite a wonderful experience. This gives me the motivation to walk more outside.

What a pleasant walk, surrounded by so many small wonders of nature.
I love bougainvilleas, but did you know that the colorful leaves are not flowers, they are leaves and the flowers are the tiny little flowers that bloom between some of these leaves. Here in my country, they grow a lot and in many colors too.
Thanks for sharing the findings of your walk:)

Never knew about it! Haha outside the four corners of my work station I barely knew everything in nature haha. Great info I learned something new.

As I try to incorporate the nature tripping in our lives I need to learn more of such hahaha.

Thanks for dropping by!
