My grassy hibiscus

Hi, my dear HiveGardners!

What flowers are the last to bloom in your garden?

It's grassy hibiscuses in my garden. If they have blossomed, it's a sure sign that summer is coming to an end. The red hibiscus you see in the photo below has been growing in my garden for about ten years. I think I'll need to transfer it to another place this year. If earlier it grew into a two-meter plant, covered with huge bright flowers, this year it looks very modest so far. Maybe it needs more sun. Over the years, raspberries have grown around him and a huge spruce has grown. Therefore, the situation has changed.

The flower you see in the photo above is one of the four new varieties of grassy hibiscus that I bought this year. Honestly, I didn't think I would get a bloom in the first year and it was a huge surprise and joy for me. I may have to transplant my new hibiscus in the fall, too, because now I see that I have not chosen places for them very well. Fortunately, these flowers are quite hardy and can be transplanted easily.

I love this plant because it has many healthy properties for the body, but with so many insects in my house I do not succeed in its cultivation, it always ends up annihilated by ants.

That white species with the red heart seems to me an exclusivity, it looks beautiful.

This plant is very beautiful, I have a red one and a pink one, besides being decorative, they resist the weather very well and give us a beautiful flower ❤️
