February Landscapes

It's the last month of winter. This year everything feels very different from previous years. We’ve already got used to warm winters. This winter has been a surprise. Both pleasant and unpleasant at the same time.

The weather continues to be extremely cold. Today it’s 20 degrees below zero again, but I hope it’s the last temperature drop this year. The roads are the biggest problem - they are covered not only by snow but also with ice. It’s very hard to walk or drive. And it’s also unsafe.

The landscapes look dull and colourless. The only interesting sight is the tree branches covered in ice. This icy captivity of almost everything has become typical of this winter. At first I was really nervous about how it would impact my garden. But now I’ve relaxed. I can’t change it after all…
