Ducklings grow up quickly 🐣🦆

In terms of the speed of how fast their babies grow, birds are definitely leaders. If puppies and kittens become adults for about a year, then a few months of months are enough for the chicks. So our ducks, which until recently were cute fluffy yellow balls, turned into funny teenagers.

They still need the care of their mother-duck, but they are increasingly showing independence. As you can see, they are almost completely feathered, although in some places there is still baby fluff.

At this age, they are very active and curious. Fortunately, they have already reached such a size when cats do not pose a great threat to them. That's why they calmly walk around the garden. Of course, dogs are still dangerous for them, so ducks and dogs have their own territory.

I'll add a few words about this breed of ducks. These are musk ducks, which are also called spike ducks. They are very quiet and this is one of their important advantages. The eggs of these ducks are very dietary. I can't say anything about meat, because it doesn't occur to me to eat my duck! Musk ducks are very independent. They are looking for a place for a nest and incubating ducklings so that you may not notice it until the happy feathered mother brings out fifteen adorable ducklings 😉
