Hi, my dear friends!

Jar-Jar decided that autumn is a great time to start shedding. Well, I'm already used to the fact that all my animals have their own opinions and their plans, without checking either the calendar or what I think about this.

Geckos shed very funny. At first, their bright coloring becomes pale. They are precisely covered with a thin film of milk. Then you can see that their skin has become too big for them and is already lagging behind the body in some places. They seem to be in a package.

In order for the molt to be successful, a special place must be placed in the terrarium. It can be a container with a wet cocoma substrate. Sometimes it happens that dead skin does not want to leave the poor gecko. Then I gently soak it with a damp sponge and carefully remove it.

I absolutely love geckos 🦎💚 there are many in my building and apartment, although smaller than yours, and I like to take them in my hand ☺️

That is beautiful one right there.🤩 Is it your pet? We have many gray geckos here, but don't pet them maybe because it's just normal to be surrounded with them. I had one who used to visit me that find its way in thru the window. At first I was cautious who knows they might jump on you. But I became accustomed to it and then we were friends. One day he just vanished without saying goodbye. A bit sad but life's reality.
