Hi, my dear friends!

Today I suddenly realized that there was only one spring month left and if I want to have a collection of spring photos this year, then I should hurry ... And then my friends and I went to the forest. Unfortunately it was a walk without dogs. Now there are a huge number of ticks and I do not want to risk one of them being bitten and sick with piroplasmosis.

Spring nature can hardly be called too bright (when compared, for example, with autumn), but it is still beautiful. The colors are very soft and fresh. These are the colors of a new life, a new beginning. Plants are now in a period of growth and it is always interesting to compare where young foliage just blooms and where young branches grow at the same time.

Wild flowers, despite their modesty, may well compete in beauty with their garden relatives. I often pay attention to the fact that wild flowers often differ from garden flowers in severity and simplicity of lines. This makes them a great subject for macro photography (as I think).

This is typical April nature. In May, the gardens will begin to bloom in full force. And now is the time for tender young foliage and grass.

We also met a beetle and I couldn't resist showing you its portrait. Just look at those mustaches! Imagine if people had mustaches that big! (in proportion to the size of the body of course).

Beautiful photos! Spring is such a lovely time, when the Earth comes alive again. Our spring here (Northwest USA) is very late this year because it has been particularly cold this year. We look forward to warmer weather and gardening time!
