Other people's children are growing fast. And this applies to birds as well. While my hens are nursing their chicks, the ducklings of the wild duck have already turned into teenagers. Although the feathered mother still accompanies them everywhere, they persistently strive for independence and do not understand that such independence can be too expensive. Despite her small size, the feathered mother is ready to protect her ducklings with the energy of a real dragon. However, this probably applies to any mother.
