Modern winter is amazing with its contrasts. The impression is that nature itself does not really understand what time of year it is. A few years ago, I discovered that the leaves on some trees simply do not have time to fall, as it always did. As for rose hips, this is a fairly standard situation. They remain on the plant even when the leaves have fallen and the weather is frosty. I don't know if there are birds or maybe small animals that eat them in winter, or if they survive until spring. But they look definitely pretty good.

And this is a young pine tree. It's still quite tiny. It's hard to believe that one day it will rise many meters above the ground. We have mostly a pine forest here. The trees are just huge. I often look at them and think that they were here long before us and will be here after us. They really saw life and know infinitely much about it.
