The end of a River

Today we have made an excursion to the delta of the Ebro river, the longest river in Spain.

The place is really beautiful, wetlands and rice fields everywhere, although everything is very dry due to the deep drought that the country suffers.

The environment is also a paradise for thousands of migratory and aquatic birds that stop here on their way to or from Africa.

It is also a very windy area and a very popular place for kite surfers.

The ecosystem also has semi-desert areas and many dunes where children have been playing.

In short, it has been a magnificent place to visit.
