Kuala Lumpur, Markets and Temples

Hot and humid day in the city although we had planned a day of intense walking.
The main objective was to visit the city's Chinatown, its historic centre and the main market.

In the end we spent most of the time in Chinatown where we bought a lot of trinkets, a Manchester United shirt, a portable battery, various decorative objects etc...

The truth is that everything in this country is quite cheap compared to European standards, especially the food is super cheap although sometimes it is difficult to find drinks that are not carbonated or sugary...there are not many places where beer is offered, I suppose the reason is religious.

On the other hand, we visited several temples spread throughout the city...the Hindu temples are the most beautiful in my opinion.

Now it is time to go back to the pool, it is too hot, especially for the kids…

It looks like a nice vacation. It's nice to see that things are cheap but it really hits you hard when you realize how far your own money goes in your own country.
